2021 Brides - How are we feeling?!

Congratulations!! You have definitely been waiting for this for a long time!
We were originally November 2020, and rescheduled to November 2021. As of now, we are still planning to have our wedding this year! Hopefully things will start getting better/safer with the new incoming administration, and once the vaccine is readily available to the public this spring/summer. 🤞🏻🙏🏻 We will have been engaged for three years by that time, and I would really rather not make it a four year engagement!

How many guests are you expecting? I think fall 2021 is looking pretty good, but I would think for 150 or so, a 300 person wedding probably still won’t be happening at that time.

So far we are going ahead with our wedding in April (inviting 180, expecting 100 or so). It's outdoors so I feel better about that! We are also going to a wedding in Feb that will be 100+ people. I'm a little nervous about that one.

Fingers crossed for sure! 3 year engagement, wow!! We'll be engaged for 2 years come this summer so I can understand that! Hopefully all goes well this year and we can all finally get the weddings of our dreams

It's so close for you!! How exciting! Being outdoors would make me feel better as well! I hope you have a good time at the wedding next month, I'd be nervous too but as long as you are careful and just use your caution I am sure all will be great!

I'm getting married June 5, 2021, and we have made the decision to not postpone our wedding no matter what the circumstances may be at that time.

We got engaged fall 2019 and always planned on a 2021 wedding (we moved across the country right after our engagement and it felt like too much to get married in 2020). I'm super grateful that we had originally planned for this year! I'm hoping things are more settled down by the fall but basically we've decided we're doing it then anyway, no postponing for us. Even if we end up in our venue with just our parents we'll still be getting married!

Ours is July 2021. We are not postponing regardless of what that day will have to look like.

Oh YAYYY!! Congratulations, it's almost here!!

We're getting married October 29th this year. We're planning a small wedding of 50 guests to be safe. I'd like to do more but if not that's fine. We can also scale back if needed. We want to get married this year so we're going through with it no matter what.

We’re getting married January 30 and we’re going through with it even if it’s just the two of us at the venue lol. We really don’t want to go through planning again and our venue is currently booked through 2022 so it’ll just be easier if we go through with it now! We’re also super attached to where we’re getting t married because it’s also where we met/got engaged!
