I understand where you are coming from. Well just continue looking I know you will find a catering company that can help you with what you are looking for. You still have time in your hands.
This is the first thread I've read where I actually feel like I need to start planning a bit more actively! I'm getting married June 2020 and we've booked our venue and wedding planner so far....I believe the next steps are to find a photographer and obtain contracts from our potential videographer and dj.

We are getting married at the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite and most likely getting ready in our hotel rooms. Everyone will have to stay out there because we all like at least 4 hours away so it’s just figuring out which rooms we use
I wish we were more on top of things, but a lot of the current issues I'm having rely and wait on other sources at the moment. <_<
We're waiting to hear back from the church on the ceremony dates available, then we can finally book a venue based on that date, and then finally officially have our wedding date. We're shooting for August 8th, 2020 (closest to our anniversary!) or June/May (memorial day weekend) for our wedding. Once we get those things in order I can finally relax again. it's just hard with all of the traveling, holidays, etc to get everybody on the same page.
I wanted an October 2019 wedding, but have since given up on this so we have more time to plan and save! We are almost done picking a venue and the new date is April 2020. The only issue I am running into is that I love fall colors, so I am struggling to come up with a new color scheme. I love dark green and gold, and originally had wanted burgundy too, with orange accents. Struggling to replace the burgandy with something not pink (I've never liked the color). Was looking into a dusty blue color...but idk.
Engaged 1/13/19 planning an April 2020 wedding.. just starting to visit venues now! Have done endless hours of research, but haven’t picked other vendors yet

Well we were both sorted into Slytherin on Pottermore so we are going to go with a dark emerald and siler color scheme. We are going to encourage the guests and party to wear theur own house colors though if they like. Ive started making the floating candkes from the Great Hall and am playing around with a lot of cool themed center piece ideas. The one venue we really liked allows for a lot of really neat light effects with the decor which would really add to the ambiance. And we really cant decide on food >_< we are both kind of foodies so theres so much to choose from and we just want it to be tasty. It depends on which venue we end up going with i guess. One allows us to choose our own catering service the other requires that we use the in house catering service.
I’m getting married 05/30/2020. We have booked both venues (church and reception venue), bought wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses (got a great sale, didn’t expect to buy yet lol), purchased centerpieces a family friend was selling from her wedding, and booked our wedding arch rental.
I've gotten my venue already. I thought I had my caterer but I went to a wedding expo on Sunday and I met another caterer that might be a little more up our alley. My photographer is really cheap, I'm not sure if she's THE perfect fit but we are on a tight budget and I have to trust that she's good. There are so many fantastic photographers down here but they are so expensive.
