I filled them with chocolate, a ring pop, bracelets that say I can’t tie the knot without you, a little hangover recovery baggy, little bottle of wine, an ink pen with a huge diamond on the end, and bridesmaids glasses!!
I want to incorporate Navy blue, but I can't decide what to pair it with. This week I'm leaning toward a Berry/Navy combo but I don't want it too dark for a summer wedding. I may drop the Navy altogether and go with a Slate blue or lighter shade. Again...totally undecided! Good thing I have a bit of time before I need to commit to a color scheme.
JULY 2020! We booked out venue/church last summer. We have my dress/shoes and photographer booked. My goal is to have the DJ/band booked before spring and then spend this summer looking at florsits, beauty, etc. I am a teacher so I plan to get a lot done this summer and then not have to do much else until a few months prior to our wedding! Also we have our honeymoon all decided, just waiting until a year out so that we can book hotels/air all at once! Costa Rica!!! Pura vida!
July 2020 here. Booked our venue already and saved $500 over next year’s rate by doing so. 😃
Likely won’t be locking down any other vendors until starting this July, about a year out. I have vendors in mind for photography, cake, catering, photo booth, and DJ (unless we do a band) - but no real need to decide for sure on those just yet. Venue, though... finding that and locking down was super important to me. The other pieces are way more flexible - tons of vendors to choose from, only a few venues that had what we wanted overall!
Hello everyone Sept of 2020 here! Literally just got engaged a few weeks ago to the love of my life whom I've almost been with for 7 years (7 year mark is this sept)! So far, we figured out our wedding date, we've gotten most of our guest list figured out, we are in the process of figuring out our wedding budget, and we have our first appointment to view a venue on the 26th of this month. We are so excited! It's about time, right?! Lol I'm definitely not as far along as many of you seem to be, so if any of you have any suggestions for affordable decorators, photographers/ videographers, djs, and even venues, I would be so grateful to hear them! In the meantime I've been loving this weddingwire app, its so helpful. Congratulations on all of your engagements and happy wedding planning! Jessica
Whoops forgot to mention, I also already know who my bridesmaids and maid of honor will be. I just need to think of a creative way to ask them if they would do the honors of being apart of our wedding. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on what to give to them as a gift before the wedding?
OMG I feel so behind I literally have nothing booked except for the venue and pastor. I got engaged Christmas Eve 2018 getting married on April 18th 2020. I was going to officially start planning at the year before mark.
Hello ladies. My day is set for August 2020. I'm looking at venus now. I have my dress, a photographer and DJ. My plans went from a small gathering to a big wedding. However, it's an honor to read and connect with you guys. Thanks Lynnie for reaching out.
