2020 wedding 👰🏽

I am getting married June 2020.

We already have the venue, dj, photobooth, caterer, wedding coordinator, photographer/videographer, churro cart.

We just need flowers, cake, and my dress

Booked the venue calling my florist today.

I am getting married April 2020 and we have the cermony place and reception place pick out, we just can't book them until April 1st. We have the photographer and DJ picked out as well, but until we can secure the date at the venue, I am not booking them. I have picked out the type of flowers I want to use (think I am going to use fake flowers) and I am going wedding dress and bridesmaid dress shopping in early May! Catering comes with the venue for the reception, we just need to decide what we want to eat!

I am getting married in April 2020 as well and we are one the same page! Have you asked your bridal party yet? I am getting the boxes ready now to hopefully give to them by May!

I have my venue, which does the catering, i have my photographer, videographer, and dj. Working on my guest list so we can send save the dates next month.

I got engaged Christmas Day of 2018 and our date is January 26, 2020 which is the weekend of our 10 year anniversary. i'm so excited because we have our venue, photographer, florist and are currently working on catering. I have my first dress appointment next week! i'm nervous and that is honestly the part i'm least excited about. other than that i'm going to start to plan my fiance's ring and make a payment on it. engagement pictures are in may. i want to have all the big things out of the way so we can work hard during the summer and only have to worry about decor, table rentals and the smaller DIY things. happy planning ladies!

How did you decide to go with a wedding coordinator? i'm going back and forth on having just a day-of but they're so expensive even for one day!

View Quoted Comment Mine is actually “month-of” coordinator. The price for that was $2k, and she brings an assistant too. Our venue actually requires couples to have a wedding coordinator because the property is large, and there are a lot of different levels to it.
I would have hired a coordinator regardless though. My FSIL did not have a coordinator for her wedding, and she was setting up her own wedding the morning of!! She was setting up her centerpieces and welcome tables too. She was so stressed out! The coordinator will set up your wedding for you exactly how you want it. She will also make sure that your wedding flows exactly how you want it based on your timeline. At the end of the night, the coordinator will properly gather all your personal items and load them into either her car or a families car. My FSIL was cleaning and packing up her own wedding at the end, along with us BMs and other family. It was kinda sh** show at the end! Haha. You want to just relax and not stress about all these little details, and you especially don’t want to put the responsibility on your BMs or family.

I started planning a few days after we got engaged! LOL Party planning is something I LOVE to do and we're October 2020! We have venue tours set up for next month and will hopefully love one of them in which case that covers ceremony, catering and alcohol. I've been doing little things here like researching DJ's, photographers and hair and makeup but won't go over anything with FH quite yet. Don't want to overwhelm him so early into the planning process

Hey all, March 2020, havent booked a venue yet, although i know i want a country club venue. But my question is about djs vs bands, and if anyone has a dj they have used before that they could recommend?

Hey guys! October 2020, we have a venue picked out but can't officially book it until we are 11 months out, DJ is booked, photographer is booked, we are in talks with a caterer now, my HMU artist is booked, and we have asked and gotten "Yes's" from the whole wedding party, already found my dress, still need to find a cake but I think not a bad start so far!

Getting married January 2020! Colors are burgundy rose gold and navy. Will be getting married at stage 1!
