2020 wedding dress shopping!

Yay! I'm a 2020 bride too. I found my dress already in the first store I went into. It brought me to tears so I know its the one. Perfect dress. Its still early but if say you can really dive into looking by spring. Maybe MArch or April. Good luck and have fun.

Congrats! I went to one store two weeks after I got engaged and found the perfect dress. I don’t think it’s ever too soon.

Usually about a year out is when it’s recommended. This is due to ordering time on some dresses. Also, dress regret is real and sometimes people who shop to early have dress regret later on.

Congrats I’m a April 2020 Bride to Be! I found my dress but I’m not ordering it until Feb. It takes 6 months to comeback and probably another 2 months for alterations. So you are just fine in your planning

I wouldn’t start shopping more than a year ahead. I started a year out and over the course of 3 months completely changed what style of dress I thought I’d get so I’m really glad I waited and took my time with picking my dress!

I got my dress 5 months after I got engaged and about 13 months before my wedding. I’d Say you can start looking whenever you want just make sure you absolutely love it before buying so you don’t change your mind!

I started looking a year out for my dress. I found mine after visiting the second dress shop but I went to 2 more after that just to make sure. Then I made another appointment a week later after I found two. I went back to the first dress shop and tried on the dress I fell in love with but showed the consultant the other dress I also liked and she was able to show me a dress they just got in a couple of days before that looked like both of the dresses but it was a little out of budget. Since my fmil saw how happy this dress made me, she offered to pay the rest of it.

Congrats! About a year would be reasonable. Because my weight tends to fluctuate, I want to wait til it’s about a year away from our date. If your weight is pretty steady, then go with the flow! 😀
