My best friend did! I was the MOH along with her twin sister. It worked well! I’m very hands on, and her sister was more laid back, so that helps. It was also really nice that I could text her all the time with planning things!

How did you both react and how did the bride ask? I'm just worried my girls will get upset because maybe they are only expecting to be the only one

I'm having 2 MOH's! My twin sister and my bestfriend of 17 years! I was nervous asking because I didnt want to offend my sister by asking my friend. I asked my sister first and she actually mentioned my friend being co MOH. My friend was super surprised as she was not expecting me to ask her! Planning so far has been super easy! My friend and I live close together so we will meet up and plan while my sis lives near my mom still and they have been able to do some stuff! Anyways that was super wordy but yeah 2 rocks!

I’m having a maid of honor (best friend of 15 years) and a matron of honor (my cousin) I wasn’t nervous about offending them. My best friend lives 5 mins away from me and my cousin in florida (i live in NY) so really my cousin was kind of a formality because we’re like sisters but she understands and my bachelorette will be in Miami so she’s taking the reigns on that lol!

I told my best friend she was going to be my MOH & she was honored and I told her my sis would be my MOH also and she kind of made a comment laughing something like “ya she’s your sister” as if it were obvious that I would ask her, too. It shouldn’t be an issue. The only issue would maybe be if they don’t know each other or if they both are friends to you and one isn’t a sister to you, there may be jealousy. Or when it comes time to choose who stands right next to you. Other than that, I was more worried about asking my other BM’s to be BM’s instead of MOH’s because I didn’t want their feelings to be hurt. But my bff warned me “it’s your wedding and you do what you want.” So if you want to ask both of them, and you prefer one or the other to stand next to you, awesome. It’s their job to either stand there to support you, or don’t. 🤷‍♀️

If anything, I think I offended a few family members by not asking them at all, even tho we aren’t close anymore.

I will be having 2 MOH because I don’t want to choose between my 2 sisters as we are all very close. For their weddings we did it the same way and there was no problem

I will be having 2 Matron's. My FH cannot choose between his two brothers for BM and I don't want to choose either.

How are you deciding who stands next to you? I have 2 best friends, one for 22yrs and one for 20yrs.. I want them both to me MOH but I don’t know who to choose to stand next to me. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

I was my best friend’s maid of honor and her sister was her matron of honor. She has two sisters and her other sister dropped out of the wedding party to wear a sexy dress 😂. It was never an issue for us. I ended up taking the lead on most things because her sister (still super helpful) was pregnant with her third during some of the planning process and had the kid about 5 months before the wedding. Her sister is pretty chill so she was unlikely to get offended by anything anyway and we’re in our 30s so we don’t tend to have much drama that way. It probably depends a lot on the personalities of your two MOHs.

Honestly it makes the process leading up to the wedding easier for the girls if they’re at least friendly with each other. She asked her sister to be MOH, and then asked me with a bottle of wine and a note (her sister doesn’t live close by). She passed it by her sister first and then asked me. Her sister loved the idea! I just felt honored that I was going to be MOH as well as her own flesh and blood. Very special feeling. Like I was family too.

My Matrons of Honor are both my best friends. We have all three been best friends since as long as I can remember! They love sharing the duties.

Hi Megan. Have you asked the two people to be your MOHs yet? How did it go?
