10 inch vs 20 inch wedding sparklers

My photographer said the longer the better and I really needed to get 36”. I also did a sparkler exit at a friends wedding and they burned down almost immediately. We had to keep doing it to get a good picture.

I would go with one 20 inch sparkler. You wouldn't believe how long it takes to coordinate a grand exit with sparklers, you will want the full 2 minutes from lighting the first one, to your actual exit, to them burning out. I also wouldn't want each guest to have 2, they burn at over 1000 degrees, one per person is plenty.

We did the 20 inch ones and they worked great!

Also it depends on who is coordinating this. If you are leaving guests to their own devices to figure it out it will take a while. We had our wedding planner and multiple assistants getting everyone’s sparkler lit and had us ready to run through the second they were all lit. It really doesn’t take that long if you have someone assisting.

I did read that somewhere and I am having the coordinator and my bridal party help with the lighting of the sparklers. Good to hear your feedback on that, as well. Thank you.
