The only instance we had of this was about 4 weeks ago. We were at the visitation for my grandpa (yes...), when my dad's cousin (who 1 - I have never spoken to and my dad is not close at all to, and 2- is very odd) walked up to FH and I, and straight up asked where his wedding invitation was. It was awkward as heck! Fortunately, his phone rang at that moment, so we were able to dart away to the other side of the room.
There are people whose weddings we went to, who we didn't invite to ours, since we just have not maintained a friendship in the years since. At least one of those was a wedding that I would not have been offended if I wasn't invited.

It's sad this list even has to exist! It's incredibly rude for people to ask if they're invited, whether they're joking or not. Thank you for sharing this
