10-23-2021 wedding!

Hello everyone! We are getting married 10-23-2021, wondering if any other brides are getting married around this date and have a suggestion on when to send out Save the dates?! Or any other suggestions of things to work on during the down time of planning, I’m in a lull at this point!

Hey girl! October 16th bride here! We're sending ours out in February. Our venue is at least an hour drive for everyone, so we want to give them plenty of time to plan travel.

Hi Tori!! We were thinking February as well. I have been seeing so many great deals on sites right now, I am wondering if buying now and sending them out in February might be smart too! Thank you for the feedback!

I was an October 22nd bride, but a.) concerns about the weather around here (Cleveland, OH is so unpredictable in October onwards) and b.) being impatient as all get out and feeling like October was way too far away, prompted us to switch our date to September 10th, 2021. Smiley xd

That said...we should probably be sending out our invitations (we are skipping save the dates because they don't make sense to us) in January if you guys are talking about February for an October wedding. I had not really been thinking about that. Whoops.

Also wondering if you are planning to send save the dates to everyone hoping COVID isn’t still in play and doesn’t limit your numbers?

We're actually buying ours tonight because of the sale! I know with Minted, you can buy a credit right now to get the discounted price and then make them later.

And as for COVID, we're only planning on inviting 100 anyways so we're not too worried. But I would go ahead and send them as normal and then maybe attach your wedding website link so they can check back for updates just in case.

Date twins! I'm getting married on that day as well :-)

However, I don't think we'll be doing Save the Dates. Right now, I've just been focusing on putting down deposits for all of the extra vendors (day-of coordinator, photographer, etc.) and doing LOTS of Pinterest-ing Lol. Good luck with your planning!

10-23! I was actually wondering the same thing, and if I even need to send out save the dates because it's a small wedding and nobody is coming from out of town. I do like the idea, though, but I don't know if it's worth it
