Do people get married on Monday's? My FHs grandmother got married on oct 8th and in her honor he wants to get married on oct 8 but it's on a Monday is that weird?

Okay so I've been to wedding showers where the FH is there and some where he's not there so would it be weird if my FH was there?

So my FH mentioned just going to the court house and getting married and then later on actually having the ceremony and reception for family and friends. Mainly because of money does that sound good or no?
