My fiancé and I have been together for almost 8 years! We met through mutual friends when we were both at LSU. Although we had hung out in a group setting multiple times, we didn’t really start to get to know each other until I asked him to pretend to be my boyfriend at a bar one night to help ward off a guy who wouldn’t take the hint that I wasn’t interested. After a week of calling each other fake boyfriend and girlfriend, we decided to go on a real date and really hit it off from there!
