Does the made of honor have to walk next to the best man during the ceremony? The best man’s wife is in the bridal party also and I feel it would be weird if his wife would walk with someone else. Any thoughts?

Help! Does the mother of the bride and mother of the groom dresses need to match? Do any brides have their mother or MIL choose their own dress and color? Do they have to match the bridesmaid dresses? I honestly don’t know what color to tell them...
