Are place cards necessary if you are just doing assigned tables, not seats?

My fiance and I picked out our venue a few months ago and the only tables they offer are farm tables. I don't have a problem with it, I'm just unsure about centerpieces. Any suggestions or inspirational photos would be greatly appreciated!

Where did you guys get your invites? I got my save the dates from minted and i loved them, but idk if I really wanna do a floral wedding invite, does it seem not as formal? Let me know your ideas! My colors are burgundy and navy and gold!
