My fiancé and I have been together for 6 years. He actually went to my parents house to ask for their blessings and permission to marry me, and also went to my brother and called my sister(as she lives out of state) to ask for their permission as well! He ended up getting my whole family to come out down town to see Christmas lights when my sisters family was in town for Christmas after we opened presents! I figured we were just having family night looking at Christmas lights and I was loving every second of it because Christmas is my favorite holiday! We got to the Christmas tree and we were all taking photos by it. We took group photos, and started taking photos of each couple. When it got to us after a few seconds of posing and goofing around I though he had dropped something on the ground or maybe had to tie his shoe, but instead he got down on his knee and asked me to parry him!! I was in such shock I lost all words! Of course I said yes after the shock passed! I didn’t even look at the ring LOL I put it on and put my glove on cause it was freezing! My sister reminded me to look at it but I was just so excited and happy especially since my whole family was there to witness this special moment in our lives! I’ve waited for this moment for so long and it truly was a dream come true! The funniest part was that before he popped the question there was a crowd that formed out of nowhere and a couple drunk guys were yelling for him to get down on one knee! And he did! They were chanting “Jimmy” (and that’s not even my fiancé’s name so it was hilarious!😂 the drunk guys were the first to hug us and congratulate us and it’s all on camera! Long story short, I finally get to marry my bestfrend and I couldn’t feel more blessed!💞
