Hi WeddingWire friends! I'm Meredith Hill & I'm tying the knot with my beloved in October 2019. He popped the question at the Bristol Renaissance faire so we thought it only appropriate to get married in a medieval themed wedding. He will be in chainmail, shoulder, arm & leg guards, a tabard & sword. The Groomsmen (3 of them) are going to be in chainmail, tabards, & swords. The Honor Guard (14 guys) will be in tabards & swords. The Honor Guards will follow me & my Dad down the aisle & sit at the ends of the rows. Then, when Dave & I are introduced as newlyweds, they will stand & make an arch with the swords over our heads as we walk down the aisle. I'm so excited!!!!

It seems like only yesterday you were just getting started, but since then you've jumped right in and have now commented 20 times in the community. You're really making a splash!
We're both taking the week before & the week after off. I don't think I'd be much help around the office the week before if I'm thinking about placesettings & flower arrangements! The week after we're staying at a hotel 3 minutes from thhe venue & doing day trips with friends & family. We'll have a bigger honeymoon later.
Deal breakers & red flags... Hummm....... Unfaithfulness would be a big issue. I'm not sure I could get over that no matter what his reasoning was. Another big 1 is addition without being willing to work on it. Being too far apart (geographically) would be tough. I don't know how military spouces do it. Respect!
What are your relationship deal breakers? ❌ Come dish in this week's game, "Red Flag or Deal Breaker?": https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/red-flag-or-deal-breaker/c5a8708834abb7f9.html

1831 days agoWe are having the meal served by the plate but the dessert will be put on a 'dessert table.' It'll be served buffet style as we're going to have a selection of dessert options. My Dad pointed out that not everyone likes cake. We agreed & there are some people with dietary restrictions who can't eat anything with glutin. We are having a head table as there are only 3 groomsmen & 3 bridesmaids. If the wedding party were any bigger, we'd need to rethink that but 8 people at the head table is manageable.
Buffet or plated? Sweetheart or head table? Come cast your vote in this style showdown: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/style-showdown/0631844968ce9bd8.html
