"express" shipping...... what does it mean?????!?!!??!?!

"2-3 business days" ---> does this mean it SHIPS OUT in 2-3 business days or it GETS TO ME in 2-3 business days?! I'm just wondering if I buy something today.. will it arrive on Saturday.... if not, theres not point. =) anyone know?
