Sorry ... Last Post..... Bells Banquets in Mt Pleasant is another All-Inclusive type place, it has a very rustic/lodge type feel and was super affordable

Hi! I wanted to give you some Venue ideas in/around Pittsburgh that might be up your alley: North Park Lodge or Robin Hill Park. They are both very affordable and will allow you the option to bring whatever caterer you choose. You will need to rent your own tables, chairs, etc, they are good DIY options. Mayernick Center – Slightly DIY. I believe the do have a list of preferred caterers you must choose from. Hampton Banquet Hall, Chadwick, Camelot Event Center and Oakmont Elks are all-inclusive type places that were very reasonable. I believe when I looked into them they were each in the $5000-$7000 range for our 120 guests. One of them included the cake, another included lighting and monograms – they each had their perks. The menu was very versatile so I’m sure you could go Mexican, BBQ or Italian if you wanted. Pittsburgh Opera House and Union Project would both look great with your Halloween theme, but might break your budget a bit – can’t hurt looking into! Broughton Fire Hall, Garden City Fire Hall Lots of Barn options north of the city towards Butler/Freeport – would also look really cool with some Halloween décor. Hope this helps to get you started!

Hi rachel. First of all congratulations on your engagement. Now to talk about your wedding like you we are on a very tight budget which was 4k and that was it no going over etc. Our wedding is similar to yours so far our reception is at a fire hall , we are doing cupcakes instead of cake. We are having a buffet style meal cooked by a friend who is a trained chef. We are only having beer wine a signature drink and pop. There is no traditional father daughter dance as for mine refused to attend. The only reason i have some one walking me down the isle is i asked my future brother in law. We are not renting china or silver wear or glasses everything is plastic and goes in the trash. I made all our flowers they are silk. I made our invites. I made our favors, along with my veil the center pieces table covers anything that i could cut costs on u bet i did. We were originally going with halloween but place was booked. We did not rent limos for transportation we skipped all the parties to save money and thats they way we wanted it.. So dont let anyone make u feel bad about what your choosing for your wedding thoes who love you wont care about the cost etc after all its a celebration of your love and commitment to eachother. If people want to nit pick u about your day then nit pick back woops my bad your not invited that simple.. Have the day you want to remember. . again congrats..
