I am getting married on Monday April 20,2020. I have my beautiful cousin as my maid of honor and my two beautiful adult daughters as my bridesmaids. We are nowhere near traditional with our wedding planning but we are having fun. We have had a difficult time with nailing down the location for the ceremony but we finally found the perfect spot. We are doing a pirate themed wedding and we started out with planning for Vegas. We set our date put about 3 years for time to save up our money ànd enjoy things. In our planning we decided it would be easier and less expensive to keep the wedding closer to home. We then contacted the tall ships out in Grays Harbor Washington but after almost a year of going back and forth by email decided it wasn't going to work for us because we would have to travel a ways to use the ship for only a couple of hours. We then looked into a State Park Campground that was practically right on the beach and was beautiful and surrounded by tree's. When I called them the guy freaked out and said we couldn't use the ampitheatre at the park because someone might use foul language or talk about something they weren't supposed to. By this time I am frustrated and in tears. Finally I call this other state park down the road a distance that also has an outdoor ampitheatre, expecting to hear no, I talked to them and to my surprise they were extremely delightful and absolutely willing to work with us. Finally I can be excited again. We are 9 months out now and I just was about to loose my mind. But now I can relax because we found our perfect location. We are looking at sending out probably around 75- 100 invitations but I only expect about half will actually show up.
