Historic Wedding Venues in Knoxville

In our wedding package we received help with planning, floral arrangements, officiant, dj, and photographer. Nicole made the entire wedding planning process so easy as well as made sure the wedding day went well. Nothing could’ve been better on our wedding day thanks to the Capitol employees. We will be back for any birthday party, anniversary and every event that requires a venue.

This was the first venue I looked at when starting to plan my wedding because it was local and convenient for us. After meeting Colleen, Amy, and the rest of the team and seeing all they hat to offer, it was settled. Best Venue Ever!!!! We even made the decision to book with them before all the updates were done. They also supply a wide variety of decor to use that saved us so much money. They have made the place even better and more versatile for every type of event. I absolutely love them and the atmosphere and will use them again in the future!

I recently had my wedding at the Foundry, and am so happy I chose this venue! I was able to have the ceremony and reception in one indoor space, and it was both convenient and beautiful. Also, Laura was super helpful and lovely to work with during the whole process!

Ramsey House was absolutely perfect! The location is so beautiful and with everything that is included in the package, it's a great deal! The wedding coordinator, Abby, is wonderful and so helpful. She made sure that all of our vendors were there when they were supposed to be and did so much work to make our wedding beautiful and perfect. As a bride, it was so amazing to know that I didn't need to worry about anything on my wedding day. All I had to do was get married and enjoy the day. Everything else was taken care of and we had the flexibility to have the wedding that we wanted.

We reserved the Bocce Terrace for our Ceremony and the Renaissance Commons River Room for our Reception. We also booked the Maclellan House for the Bride, her Bridal Party, and her immediate family. Being able to walk to everything made this the PERFECT venue. Bluff view provides a beautiful atmosphere and a talented event coordinator. The only minor inconvenience is the surcharge for an outside cake, as well as the inability to outsource food and beverages. Overall, a great choice for a wedding!

Everyone at the venue was more than helpful. I received multiple compliments on the hospitality and set up of the ceremony. I had a handful of people asking why they were having to travel so far for our wedding and once they arrived at the venue they couldn't put their phones down.

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at the Museum, and it was a "10" in every way. Our caterers were able to provide us great service from their kitchen. We had drinks and appetizers, followed by a seated dinner. The location was ideal. Easy parking, perfectly located downtown, convenient on and off the highway. The museum itself made for the BEST fun, and will be long remembered by our guests. We are hosting a party for our daughter's wedding there next December...THAT'S how much we love it!

Ever since this place opened when I was younger I knew that’s where I was going to get married. Now that is coming true. The employees and owner really help bring my vision to life. They take the stress of wedding planning off my shoulders. Highly recommend to anyone.

As a professional photographer with over forty years experience I can honestly say the building and the staff are exceptional. They bend over backwards to make sure your special day or corporate event goes trouble free so everyone has a great and memorable time. From the moment I toured this venue I knew it was the right fit. They are such nice folks, and are so helpful... I asked for so many things day of and they suggested some too without prompts! That and the custom menu they prepared was DELICIOUS! Oh and if you want, the train is available! We didn't have to decorate too much because the architecture itself is beautiful.
