The Hackney Warehouse is a unique wedding destination in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We offer a variety of accommodations that can satisfy all your needs. The facility was built in 1911 and was originally a wholesale grocer that served the train that came through the area; the building has continued to serve the town as many different businesses before being renovated in 2014 as a wedding venue.

We are about 4 hours from Charlotte, North Carolina, 6 hours from Raleigh, and only an hour from Franklin, North Carolina. Through the iron gates you enter the landscaped courtyard--this inviting area is a premier location for any outdoor ceremony or reception. Along with the courtyard, the use of reclaimed timber, brick, and metal in the spacious warehouse offers a combination of rustic and formal elegance. The Hackney Warehouse offers a beautiful setting in the Smoky Mountains for any and all events or special occasions.

River Station Bridal Suite is elegantly decorated to provide you with a comfortable and intimate space to prepare for your big day. Downstairs River Station includes a kitchenette area with a sink, a mini-fridge, and a wine fridge, a sitting area with a vintage train seat straight out of the historic train, a dressing area with a full-length mirror and plenty of hooks for dresses, as well as a large bathroom, to accommodate your bride tribe! The Bridal Suite is the perfect backdrop for your pre-wedding photographs! River Station Apartment is equipped with a kitchenette area with a stove, mini-fridge, sink, and coffee maker as well as a beautiful bathroom with a waterfall shower, and a bedroom. The Apartment is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your first night as Mr. and Mrs. without ever leaving the grounds!
