About

The Ivey House is a historic wedding venue located in Seymour, Tennessee. Originally built in 1886, the pristine white farmhouse was foreclosed during the Great Depression before it was purchased by the Riggs family. Their daughter, Lovana, married Charles Ivey in the front parlor in 1948 and lived there until 2018. Now owned by husband-and-wife team Dustin and Colleen, the house is a charming and secluded spot set on lush green lawns. Situated just thirty miles from Knoxville and Gatlinburg, the estate combines the best of rural tranquility with the ease of urban proximity. Featuring a natural spring, corn crib, the unparalleled views of the Great Smoky Mountains, this venue is an idyllic setting for all celebrations of love.

Wedding Dreams come true.

If you are looking for a simple, elegant, historic farmhouse, low country rustic wedding venue, this is the place. The moment you step onto the property you can feel the history. There is a peace and calmness in this location. The owners, Colleen and Dustin are some of the most genuine, humble, honest, kind people you will ever meet. Wedding planning will feel like you are planning a wedding with your very best friend. I will forever cherish the relationship that was built with Colleen and Dustin while planning my wedding. Even though we had some hard decisions to make because of uncontrollable circumstances like rain. I would not want or trust anyone else to have made this day as perfect and as special as it was. I will forever and always recommend the Ivey House not just for weddings but for any event. The space is absolutely perfect and they keep adding things that just simply take your breath away. I never knew how much better it could get and they always blow me away with each new thing. I continue to fall in love every again every time I visit and every time I look at my wedding photos. This place is definitely a dream come true.
