  Beautiful photography with a personal touch

  Hiring Stella as our engagement photo and wedding day photographer was one of the best decisions we made! We feel like she really got to know us, and brought such a sweet, romantic vibe to our day. Not to mention, her photos are incredible! Stella has a way of capturing emotional and candid moments - something we didn't see in other photographers' photos. Our engagement photos were so perfect that many of our friends ask if we're posing in front of a Montana backdrop. On our wedding day, she gave us alone time for private photos while also hanging with the party taking photos of friends/family. We already plan to use Stella for future anniversary photos when we travel back to Montana. Fine photography at its best!!

  Hiring Stella was the best decision I made while planning my wedding. She not only does beautiful work, but she is the sweetest person and makes sure you are comfortable and soaking in every moment of your wedding day. She is super accommodating, and let us do photos in the order that we wanted to and that fit in with the flow of our wedding day. I can not recommend Stella enough.

  The Personality and Talent we Needed on our Wedding Day

  My husband and I adored working with Stella! From the moment we met her via Skype, we knew she was the right person to capture our wedding day. Planning a Montana wedding from Boston, MA required us to conduct many of our vendor meetings via Skype or FaceTime. Stella was flexible with our meetings throughout the planning process. She was extremely responsive via email, especially with the 2 hour time difference.
  
  In addition to her obvious talents behind the camera, what drew us to Stella was her personality. We wanted a calm presence on our day to keep us relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. She brought serenity amongst the chaos.
  
  Post wedding, she has been so helpful in ordering prints, designing the album, and providing extra surprises. We hope to connect with her the next time we are in Montana for additional shoots. We would hire Stella again without question.

She was always patient, delightful and confident. Stella continuously made us as couple feel relaxed and totally captivated with each other, sometimes even forgetting that our photos were being taken…she’s that good! When we received our wedding photos the emotions of that day came right back. She has the natural ability to capture moments that leave you with pure joy inside.   I feel that anything I say about Stella Kelsie Photography will be an extreme disservice to her because I will never be able to explain in my own words how much she did for my husband and I. We eloped from Texas to Montana and my husband planned everything (which included selecting a photographer on his own). He chose Stella Kelsie and from day 1, she was there to help him. From choosing a location for the ceremony and pictures, to helping him along the way with bakeries, etc. She went above and beyond her call of duty as our photographer. Since we weren't from around the area and not used to driving in the snow/ice, she offered for her husband to chauffeur us around (to the wedding and then to different locations for pictures, and back to our cabin). It was like we had our own personal limo service, and we just adored her husband! Prior to our arrival, they had searched and located exactly what my husband wanted; several snowy, winter wonderland backdrops. Stella also had warm apple cider in a thermos for us, because she knew I would be freezing in my wedding dress while outside taking pictures! She even found us a chalkboard so we didn't have to take one on the plane, so we could write, "We eloped in Montana!" She was the most personable photographer, helping us feel comfortable IMMEDIATELY! She is just so sweet and genuinely cares about her clients as people. I asked her to provide me with 2-3 pictures before we got home (about 4 days) so I could send out elopement announcements; however, she had several pictures to me the very next day!! Her work is breathtaking; the compliments on the photos and photography haven't ended! We just love Stella and we are so glad my husband found her and chose her because we know we've made lifelong friends!

  I love the work of Stella Kelsie Photography! She did our engagement and wedding photos. I love her style and great ideas! She is laid back, funny and super nice!   Stella is hands down THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER i have worked with. I have been infront of her camera and behind the scenes with her working on the hair and make up and she really does pay attention to every detail. She knows how to make you feel comfortable. She know how to make a girl feel beautiful. She makes even your wedding day that can be so hectic, feel intimate and like you and your groom are the obly one there. Stella goes above and beyond for her clients ( she sometimes seems more excited than the actual bride and groom lol) she really does everything in her power to make you enjoy your experience ... yes even if you are camera shy and think the pictures will be awkward you end up laughing and loving the whole process ...stella knows what she is doing and her photos have left me in happy tears all over again from my big day. I will pick her a thousand times over again for the rest of my life with big events.

Now all that stuff isn’t in the contract, but I make that point to demonstrate Stella’s overall kindness and sweetness! She really understands that this is one of the most important days of your life… She is such an easy person to be around that day. Highly, highly recommend.
