    Lesley was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish! Her talent shines through in every single picture she takes! She went above and beyond on the wedding day! We definitely made the right choice going with pure aperture to catch our special memories to cherish forever!

    I choose Pure Aperture for my wedding photography this past September and cannot be more pleased. Myself, as well as many brides would hear leading up to their wedding day of past brides being disappointed with their wedding photos....this will not be the case with Pure Aperture! That stress was actually a huge concern of mine since I have close friends that had not so nice experiences with their wedding photographers. My wedding photos came out beautiful. I was so happy with their style of capturing great moments and all the details in between. The team for my wedding day was made up of Heather and Melissa with Lesley for editing (she was unavailable that day for shooting). They worked with my somewhat picky requests of candid photos, my specific photography locations, and pics of all the details, and doing all this at an outdoor wedding in +30 degrees of heat with great professionalism. I received my photos around 2 months after the wedding (I've heard of people waiting a year!) Lesley even did a little touch up (a couple hairs out of place kinda thing) to a few photos I used on my wedding thank you cards in record time. I am so very pleased with my photos since its one of the very few things I get to keep after the special day.

    We had the pleasure of bringing Lesley to our destination wedding in Mexico. Lesley was pleasant and professional throughout our entire experience. It was a busy week for us and Lesley was able to ensure that all the photos we specifically wanted were captured and everything else left to her exceeded our expectations!
    Upon receiving our edited photos, we discovered many candid moments were elegantly captured without us even noticing her running around.
    We are beyond happy with our choice in Lesley sharing and capturing our special day and will definitely recommend her to our friends.

    Working with Lesley and Heather on our wedding day was perfect. They were professional and fun during our shoot. The pictures turned out great and the turn around time was quick. Lesley works with you and puts your ideas into life. We would definitely recommend her experience to everyone and we will use her again.

    Lesley met every expectation and exceeded every expectation we had for a wedding day/engagement shoot photographer. Her work was phenomenal-the shots look like they should be in a magazine. Her work speaks for itself!!! The bonus was how amazing Lesley was to work with! Lesley was incredible-she was always available to answer questions and she made us very comfortable infront of the camera-which shows in our pictures. I would recommend Pure Aperture to everyone-and I will be sure to use her again for different style shoots.

    As a photographer myself, picking a wedding photographer to capture our big day went beyond excellent quality photos. We wanted someone who felt like a best friend; someone who sees your view/vision before your done explaining it, makes you more comfortable and relaxed just being around them, and heck; someone you would trust your unborn child with....

    Okay maybe I went over the top there. But what I'm trying to say is, Lesley and Mike suited the part in capturing our big day perfectly! Even though I knew and have worked with Lesley in the past at Edge Imaging. I wanted to make sure I included someone special to celebrate with, while they captured our forever memorable day. Everyone in the bridal party felt like they were long lost friends or relatives. Lesley and Mike were with us celebrating and working their photographic magic the whole day long, they brought my wedding vision to life through their lenses.

    I was so overwhelmed and grateful to have had shared our day with Lesley and Mike, that it didn't even dawn on me the feeling of re-living our wedding day through the photos they were about to present to us. I was and still am speechless! Our photos are breathtaking and tell a true story of our unforgettable wedding day. Lesley you have me in tears of joy and I will be forever in a daze while I reminisce on the photos of all the details you captured. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We will be forever grateful to have had you capture our big day, it meant the world to us. Let alone the beautiful blog you wrote, that is a true keepsake! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

    We loved working with Lesley and her Pure Aperture team for both our engagement and wedding photos. She was always easy to connect with, quick in her responses and took some incredibly amazing photos! We are still getting compliments on how lovely our engagement photos were.

    We are in the midst of waiting for our wedding photos, but have gotten a chance to see some of the teasers and our photo booth photos. Everything looks great and we were really comfortable working with Lesley and her second shooter Heather. They took the time to find some really interesting photos (even if you felt kind of silly doing them at the time, they looked amazing in the photograph) and she let us take some really silly photos that we had mentioned we wanted to take - even though this meant she had to go back to work and take us back outside for photos in the middle of dinner, this is just something an amazing photographer will do for you.

    If you are looking to work with a very welcoming, friendly and extremely talented photographer, you should book with Pure Aperture. You won't be disappointed!

    We absolutely LOVED working with Pure Aperture for our engagement and wedding photos. Both Lesley, and associate, Heather (who in fact did our wedding day) were both spectacular. They are professional, fun, easy-going, timely, clear, and go above and beyond.

    We initially contacted Lesley and set up an evening meeting with both photographers at a location nearby our Mississauga home (so they were willing to come to us to meet, which was very nice). We chatted over coffee about what our wedding vision was, and then began to look at packages. We felt the pricing was super fair, considering we were getting both our engagement and wedding photos done, as well as all the photos they take the day of the wedding, a lovely guest book, and further help with designing Thank You cards later on. I can only imagine the work that goes into editing these photos for us, so it's well worth the money.

    Heather was awesome on the day of the wedding - arriving early, staying a bit later to catch the bouquet toss, was so friendly to my family, and people even asked me later on if she was a friend of mine! Lovely people, and the photos have never disappointed. They capture some beautiful angles, unexpected things, and the shoot itself is so fun and easy with their guidance.

    I would recommend them to any couple, and families looking for new baby shots or portraits!

    We used Pure Aperture for our wedding and engagement shoot, and Lesley was a pleasure to work with and very professional. My now husband was not excited about the engagement shoot and it ended up raining the day of our shoot but Lesley was able to make both of us feel very comfortable and we ended up with some great photos!

    It also rained the entire day of our wedding but Lesley and our second photographer Mike were able to get creative and we got some amazing and unique photos in the rain.

    I highly recommend using Pure Aperture as your wedding photographer!

    Lesley and her associate Heather were amazing people to have photograph our wedding. They were able to get so many amazing photos of our entire day and we didnt even notice them taking the photos. :)
    Lesley has went above and beyond for my husband Chris and I. She has helped us with so much then what we originally hired her for last year, which was to just photograph our wedding. She helped me figure out so many other things during the wedding process that sometimes had nothing to do with photography. :) She was very flexibile and was always just an email away,
    Photography can be an expensive part of the big day, but honestly, the pricing was well worth the quality of service that we received. :)

    The first time we met Lesley during our consultation, she was very personable and flexible with our unique wedding requirements. She was able to construct a package that suited our needs.

    She is extremely responsive in her emails, which I found extremely important and was always on time and prepared.

    The photographs she provided were astounding. Lesley went above and beyond to ensure our magical day was captured to share with family and friends.

    Lesley was awesome. My big day rained THE ENTIRE time, and she still managed to pull off some amazing and beautiful photos. She reassured me the whole time and really went the extra mile throughout the whole process. I am very grateful for all her help, guidance and hard work. She is a true professional.

    Leslie is absolutely amazing!
    I have not seen a better photographer yet, she is so sweet and kind.
    She gets all the shots you want and the ones you wouldn't even think of, just amazing!
    I would highly recommend her to anyone.

    Lesley was great at my bridal shower! I had asked her to take pictures during my shower, but I had also wanted a photobooth. She was very professional and interacted with all of my guests and they had a great time dressing up at the photobooth and taking silly pictures. She also did a great job taking amazing pictures of the small details that I put into my tea party shower. She took casual candid shots of all my guests throughout the afternoon. I was so happy with all of the pictures that she took and I can't wait to work with her again! :)

    I can't thank Lesley enough for all the amazing work she has done for us!
    A wedding is a really big deal and a day you will remember for the rest of your life - a photographer is an important part, and I was lucky enough to have had Lesley shoot my wedding.

    The pictures are breathtaking, her talent shines brightly through. Lesley also has a very kind and light spirit which put everyone at ease and we all had fun!
    Half of the time I got so lost in the craze of my big day that I didn't even realize Lesley was in the background snapping some amazing moments. The pictures truly speak for themselves.

    My wife and I initially contracted with Lesley and Pure Aperture to conduct our engagement and then wedding photos. Lesley was incredibly easy to work with, very friendly and accommodating to our needs, she knows the area well and had lots of great suggestions for where to do the engagement photos. On our wedding day, Lesley and her partner were amazing. As with any bride and groom we were nervous and wanted things to go as smoothly as possible, Lesley was able to work to the schedule that we set and we have incredibly beautifuls photos from that day.
    The birth of our son followed that wedding and we contracted with Lesley and Pure Aperture for a 'Baby to Belly' photo package. This package included maternity shots (with myself, my wife and our daughter), Lesley was again able to suggest the perfect location for these photos. Following the birth of our son we had studio sessions done at Pure Aperture, and then one final session of photos for which we were able to return to our wedding venue (Chudleigh's Apple Farm - which is itself an incredible wedding venue).
    Throughout the time that we have used Pure Aperture as our photographer we have been over the moon impressed with both Lesley and the photos that she took. I can not say enough good things about Pure Aperture, and it was all more than worth the reasonable rate that we paid.
    On behalf of my whole family, I can definitely say that any future 'official' family photos will be done by Pure Aperture.
    Anyone who is interested may certainly contact me as a reference for this wonderful business.

    WOW! I don't even know where to begin. Lesley went above and beyond every one of our expectations. She is absolutely, unbelievably, talented and I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our engagement and wedding pictures. From our first conversation on the phone, to the delivery of my final DVDs, I have enjoyed every interaction with her. She is kind, and so easy to work with. Everyone looks fantastic in our pictures and she captured so many unexpected moments. We were completely blown away. You would feel lucky to have her take pictures for you!

    Working with Lesley and Sandra throughout my engagement session and wedding day was a pleasure. My husband and I felt at ease and comfortable throughout our engagement session, and were EXTREMELY pleased with the edited photos afterward.

    During the excitement and stress of our wedding day, Lesley and Sandra kept us calm and made sure to capture each and every special moment of the day. They were extremely flexible when it came to arranging back-and-forth transportation for the day (my parents' house, my husband's parents' house, back to my house, to the church, the park and then the reception)!

    I would recommend Pure Aperture to anyone looking for a high level of professionalism and ultimately, creative and stunning photos. I will definitely be using them in the future for my maternity and newborn photos!
