We wanted an extremely simple, small wedding ceremony on the beach at sunset here in Myrtle Beach with only our closest family members. When researching officiants, we found most of their options had too many “frills” attached for us. We were impressed by the simple (as well as extravagant) and affordable options on Eric’s website and the option to completely customize our ceremony, which is what we did.
I gave Eric a call and he answered immediately. He took plenty of time to ask me questions about what our dream wedding day looked like, and to answer all the questions I had. I immediately felt comfortable, at ease, and understood by Eric. We hired him on the spot.
He was very prompt in every email and phone communication we had in the 3 months leading up to the wedding. He was even so kind as to provide detailed information on how to obtain a marriage license, and some options for local photographers. He even had us fill out a wedding questionnaire that I could update as many times as I liked as our plans or desires for our wedding day changed over time. I also appreciated that he called us the day before the wedding to go over all the details one last time. He was so gracious about and happy to oblige our last minute change!
The day of our wedding, Eric arrived early to the beach and was very well-prepared! When our pin for the groom’s bountaneer went missing right before the ceremony, we had no time to panic because Eric immediately removed a box of pins from his bag and was so kind as to expertly pin it on the groom. Eric then guided us all to the chosen spot and expertly arranged us so that my hair was not blown around crazily by the wind and somehow the sun was not directly in anyone’s eyes. He also kindly arranged our family members so they were close enough to hear, while leaving plenty of room for our photographer.
Eric read beautifully the ceremony we wrote and emailed to him ahead of time, with no mistakes. We really enjoyed the sound of his voice and his pacing and pausing of the ceremony. He is a phenomenal speaker, and gave gentle guidance and cues so we knew when to perform which action.
He also did a great job preparing the paperwork, and explaining all the legalities to us. He was also so sweet taking a photo with us and texting it to us afterwards. I would highly recommend Eric to any couple. He is flexible, incredibly kind, and truly loves his job. He offers Southern hospitality, expert advice and guidance, and is eager to help. Thank you, Eric!

Quick, simple and easy
Eric, at Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiant, was incredible! He took the time to answer any and all questions and was super responsive. He was extremely affordable and was perfect for the simple, quick and easy wedding we were looking for. We literally called him a week before we wanted to get married and he had very open availability. We wanted an elopement that had no fuss and he delivered. We were in and out of his office in 15 minutes legally married. 100% recommend him! -

Eric was wonderful in coordinating our special day. We decided at the last minute to get married on our vacation, just a week before our trip. We said that if it wasn't going to be too complicated, we would go ahead with it instead of waiting until next year. Guess what?! It was the easiest thing to plan ever for us all, thanks to Eric! I looked online for getting married in Myrtle Beach, and his business came up second(should have been first!). I looked at his site and saw how inexpensive it was to do, so I emailed him. He responded very quickly and had a quote for us by the end of the day. He also helped us with our marriage license. During this whole process, which Eric pretty much handled everything, including helping us find a spot on the beach to get married, we just had to forward our marriage license, answer some questions, and show up. Eric was extremely friendly and held a wonderful ceremony.
The day of the wedding, it was still drizzling from the storm that came earlier in the day, but we knew it was good luck. But a few minutes into the ceremony, the sun started to come out, and then while we were saying our own vows, we had a rainbow that come out and was right behind us. It was like our loved ones who weren't there were giving us their blessing. It was beautiful.
Eric stayed in touch with us during the whole process. I am so happy we found him and 100% recommend him if you are even slightly considering tying the knot in Myrtle Beach!

Best officiant!
Eric did Amazing with me and my wife’s wedding. We are not from South Carolina and did a destination wedding. Eric was able to make our wedding proccess, as well as our marriage license process very smooth and easy. He throughly explained every process and helped us along the way. After a quick Google search and seeing that Eric was highly recommended, I sent him an email to coordinate dates for a quick ceremony in Myrtle Beach. Eric was extremely responsive, and provided information and guidance which made the process extremely easy. He gave us a call the morning of to go over what we would like that evening (it was just the two of us to make it legal - we had a big wedding in Mexico the month before). He listened to our requests and made us feel extremely comfortable. It was absolutely perfect and he was the best choice! -

We had the absolute honor of having Eric officiate our wedding, and I can confidently say it wouldn’t have been nearly as magical without him. We first met Eric at a bridal expo (although I already knew of him because he’s the highest-rated officiant around!). I knew instantly that I wanted to book him — even before introducing myself — just from hearing him speak to another couple. His charisma, the effortless way he communicates, and the genuine warmth in his voice completely won me over.
Eric made the entire ceremony process so easy, personal, and meaningful. He took the time to get to know us and helped us craft a ceremony that was truly us — something I couldn’t have even dreamed of being so perfect. He understands that every couple is different and embraces your unique feelings, beliefs, and ideas with open arms.
Our ceremony was heartfelt, joyful, and incredibly personal. Eric narrated our love story to our guests — entirely from memory — and somehow made it feel like he had known us our whole lives. The only time he even glanced at a “script” was when reading the vows we chose, which he also helped us customize by sending options and letting us tweak them to fit us perfectly.
One of the most unforgettable parts was our unity ceremony. We were struggling with what to do, and Eric helped bring our vision to life by suggesting something so personal: signing our marriage license in front of all our guests, then sealing it with a shot! (Of course, Eric took one with us, which made it even more fun!) It was SO unique and so perfectly us — all of our guests raved that they had never seen anything like it.
Eric was professional, punctual, prepared, and honestly went above and beyond in every way possible. If you’re considering booking him — do it. You will be forever grateful you did.

I cannot thank Myrtle Beach's wedding officiant enough for making our special day memorable and stress-free. Everything was both personable and professional. Eric is the officiant you want by your side. He helped me select the perfect photographer and assisted with requesting and filing for a marriage license. The most heartwarming act, however, was when Eric was prepared with safety pins. The zipper on my wedding dress split just minutes before walking down the aisle, and I was understandably upset until Eric came to the rescue. Perfect beach wedding
We are from a whole different state so when planning a wedding a had to rely alot of reviews and the words of the people I was working with. Eric was FANTASTIC from the begining. Eric answered any and all questions with ease. I was able to ask him for all sorts of recommendations because I had no idea where to start from my hair dresser, to the physical venue he made perfect recommendations. Eric was lively and the guests all loved the ceremony and how he conducted himself. We had a less than cooperative toddler as well which he was more than happy to pause for when I needed to turn my attention for a moment. All in all give him a call you will be thrilled from start to end working with him! -

Small Backyard Ceramony

Our guests gave us so many compliments on how great Eric was and how beautiful he made the ceremony! We took his premarital counseling, which we recommend, because we got the chance to get to know him and he got to know our story. Because of this, our story was clearly shown in our ceremony which made it so personal and fun! He is also helping us after the wedding with all the licenses and name changing forms! Eric followed up with a personal postcard with our selfie picture on the front about two weeks after our wedding. This was such a personal and professional touch! We met Eric at the Myrtle Beach Bridal Expo and instantly felt a connection. Just "Thank You" seems so inadequate for the Beautiful wedding Ceremony Eric gave us, we lack the words to express our appreciation to him,.. all we can do is try.

Simply Amazing
Eric is simply the best. He has a great personality and very informative with all the steps and responding to emails and calls. He made our wedding day stress free and did a amazing job with the decorations. He is reasonable with his prices. I would recommend him to everyone. -

Magnificent
First off I would like to say that Eric is magnificent, and if I could give more than five stars I would. The wife and I hadn't planned to have a ceremony , but received late requests from family to have a ceremony. We found Eric and from the start he was great, being that we are very new to the area he selected the perfect location on the beach, helped us pick our vows and delivered a beautiful ceremony, afterwards he even stepped in to be our photographer you ask for a better experience. We are forever thankful for the experience. I highly recommend Eric to provide your wedding services and I promise you will not be disappointed. -

The best officiant
When wedding planning you don’t know where to really start. I made a list and when I came to officiant. I was like how do you choose one? So I went online and found Eric. I emailed him and we chatted a little. Then I went to the wedding expo and I walked up and introduced myself. From there I knew I wanted eric to marry Justin and I. He was so well spoken, so nice, southern and had the greatest personality. He definitely left our wedding not only our officiant but a new friend.
We can not thank Eric enough!! -
