  Wedding Photographer

  Jennings did the photography for our wedding and we have nothing but great things to say! Her personality and energy set the tone for the day, and she was so enjoyable to be around. She put everyone at ease! She is an expert at what she does, and her communication, organization and efficiency ensured that we received all of the photos we were hoping to get while making sure we could partake in all aspects of our wedding day. We highly recommend Jennings for any photography needs!

  Great experience!

  Our wedding was an intimate second wedding, and Jennings’ level of attention to detail was equal to that of a much larger event. She worked with us to determine the pictures that were important to us and to our families, and to be sure that an accurate timeline was in place. She’s always professional, and also manages to make the whole photography experience fun. We had a lovely time working with Jennings and could not be happier with our wedding pictures!

  The Shining Star of our Wedding

  We all LOVED working with Jennings! My husband and I had narrowed down our dates based on Jennings’ availability. From our first communications all the way through the delivery of our gallery (in just a couple weeks no less!) we loved our experience. Both sets of our parents complimented her timeliness on the day of the wedding and how efficient and smooth she made everything. Working with Jennings was a dream and I would recommend her first of all of our vendors!

  Best Wedding Photographer EVER!

  We cannot say enough amazing things about Jennings! As the bride, I was extremely nervous and was worrying like crazy the day of our wedding because we had a tropical storm blowing through and our reception and photos were all supposed to be outdoors. That didn’t slow down Jennings one bit! Jennings was STILL able to make our outdoor wedding pictures happen, and I think they turned out way better than if it had been perfectly warm and sunny! Working with Jennings was like spending time with a life-long friend. She instantly makes you feel comfortable and that you can trust her with anything! We can’t wait to use her again in the future, and can’t thank her enough for all she did to make our day so special.

  Best Photographer there is! Amazing work and great person!

  Jennings photographed my husband's proposal and within 2 weeks of our engagement I was booking her for our wedding. After seeing her work and spending a few hours with her after the proposal, I had to have her for our wedding day and rehearsal dinner! Jennings captures the most beautiful images and we could not be more grateful for her talent and the photographs we now have to cherish forever. From the beginning of wedding planning, Jennings was extremely organized, very responsive, took the time to get to know us as a couple and made sure she had the perfect plan set in place to make our wedding day photography, exactly what we wanted. Day of, she was very productive and took all of the shots we requested quickly. Which was great considering my fiancé doesn't love photoshoots, like a lot of men, and we were outside in the Charleston July heat. She is also just so fun to be around. She has the best personality and keeps you laughing. It was a joy to have her there with us most of our wedding day. She made the day even more fun and made us both more comfortable in front of the camera. I cannot say enough great things about her. If you are looking for a photographer that will go above and beyond and give you the wedding photography of your dreams... Jennings is who you want!

  Love at first meeting

  From our very first meeting, we hit it off with Jennings and knew we HAD to have her as our photographer. She's fun, spunky, has a ton of experience, and was patient with us as we learned more about the wedding photography process. Even though we did not meet in person prior to our wedding day, Jennings made every effort to get to know us and for us to get to know her (if you haven't checked her out on Instagram, you should!). Fast forward to our wedding day and her detailed planning and understanding ensured the day went off without a hitch. She was an amazing sport through some unexpected weather elements, took beautiful photos, and made us feel like we were just spending time with a best friend the entire day. We ADORE our pictures and cannot wait to use Jennings as we look forward to future family photos and life events. Many thanks for capturing the essence and fun within our special day...we love you!

  Greatest of all time!

  Where do I begin with how amazing Jennings is?! From the beginning we knew that she was different than the rest of the photographers we considered. Beyond her talent (which is obvious from her portfolio) and her outgoing personality, we were impressed with her communication style, thorough and efficient approach, attention to every single detail, and organized process (and this was our experience before we even got to the wedding day)! The day of, she was an absolute rockstar! Did I mention her attention to detail?? She had a list of every shot we wanted, a timeline of who needed to be where, when and she knew exactly what needed to be done. Our wedding party was like herding cats but Jennings was a pro at making sure her (my) expectations were clear and that everyone understood. All of the prep work she put into this really paid off. This is all on top of the fact that she’s a phenomenal photographer! She captured every moment, laugh, tear, hug, and made our wedding a true success.   BEST photographer in Charleston!!

  Where to even begin...I felt so lucky to have Jennings as my wedding photographer! I first heard of her from my older sister, who used her as her wedding photographer back in 2016. You could say that's when I first fell in love with the way Jennings captures these specials moments back then! She is incredible to work with, always makes everyone feel super comfortable, captures the perfect light, and of course keeps us constantly laughing! Not to mention, yes I was a COVID bride. Jennings was so patience with us as we planned, rescheduled our date, and then planned again- thank you Jennings for all that you do! Highly recommend her as your engagement and wedding photographer. I cannot WAIT to reach out to her for the 'next phase in life' pictures in the near future :)

  Jkp is the best!

  Jennings is THE best photographer in the Charleston area! After seeing her work at two friends’ weddings, I knew I had to book her for my own wedding one day! We used Jennings King Photography for our engagement session, bridal portraits and wedding day. We were planning from afar, and Jennings was so communicative and easy to work with. She worked with our travel schedules to book the engagement and bridal portrait sessions, and she suggested the most beautiful locations for our photos. She asked all the right questions to perfectly capture the most important moments during our wedding day. I barely even noticed Jennings and her camera amongst our guests during the wedding festivities, yet she captured the most beautiful and meaningful photos from our big day. We have hundreds of stunning photos from our wedding day, and we will cherish them forever. It’s so fun to relive those memories through our photos!

  Spring Wedding

  We were fortunate to have booked Jennings for both our engagement photos and for our wedding day. Not only is she incredibly talented and professional, but she is a blast to work with. She really makes an effort to get to know you prior to the wedding day so your photos are just that much more personal. Several guests after the wedding told me how much they enjoyed having their picture taken by her and how she tried to make every photo a beautiful photo. I haven't seen all my wedding photos yet, but the ones she has sent me in the "sneak peek" truly captures the feel of the day and I cannot wait to see the rest of them! Would recommend her a thousand times over.

  I’m writing a second review because I thought I only had room for a few sentences in the first. You cannot go wrong with Jennings!!! She has the best personality, so fun and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable during picture taking. She gives great tips throughout picture taking when your mind is probably distracted thinking about other things. She pays very close attention to detail and thinks of everything! She’s so thoughtful about getting to know you and your future spouse’s personalities, preferences, and expectations of your wedding day beforehand. She is so responsive throughout the whole planning process. Her pictures are incredibly beautiful. She’s so talented!!! Can not recommend her enough!!! Best photographer.

  The best vendor of my whole wedding!

  I cannot day enough wonderful things about Jennings! She was the first vendor I booked and the best by far! I was drawn to her by her amazing pictures online, in magazines, blogs, etc but she turned out to be SO much more than a photographer! From florist and wedding planner recommendations, to Instagram tips, to day of therapy - she does it all! (Plus being the organized, firm, artistic, and comfortable photographer that are must-haves).
  
  We LOVE our wedding photos and just wish we had been local so that she could have done our engagement photos too!!

  Jennings was a wonderful photographer to work with and I’d highly recommend her. She captured our wedding perfectly on Kiawah - the pictures were fantastic, her timelines and detailed lists of pictures to capture were wonderful (especially for a type A personality like me), and she never had guests waiting for pictures (she captured them and they were able to enjoy cocktail hours.)

  What more could you want in your wedding photographer than someone who takes AMAZING photographs and has an awesome personality! While Jennings has a lot of energy, she also has a calming presence- one that I personally got to experience during my wedding day. From our first conversation with Jennings to now, post-wedding, she has been nothing short of the best. Right away she made sure that we got to know each other and were compatible. She is very organized, knows what she is doing & has a great eye. Her work is amazing! She was able to capture me, my husband & our families very naturally. Our personalities really shine through our photos. She even got us our photos earlier than expected (a mere 20 days after our wedding)! I just can't recommend her enough!!

If something wasn't exactly right, she made it right. She was so easy to work with, upbeat, and always professional. She made sure I had every shot I wanted and stayed incredibly organized throughout the planning process so I had one less thing to worry about. She was everything I hoped for in a wedding photographer and more!

I left our wedding feeling like I not only had the best photographer out there, but that I also had gained a friend. She captured priceless memories throughout the wedding & bridal portraits, but one in particular that stands out was with my grandmother during my bridal portraits. Jennings captured exactly my Mamaw's expression, love, kindness...everything I love about my Mamaw captured in a picture. I know this is a priceless memory I'll have forever, thanks to Jennings! I just cannot say enough fabulous things about her. Thank you Jennings, for everything!!
