  We just celebrated my aunt & uncle's 50th wedding anniversary at the Columbia Restaurant on March 11th. From the beginning of my planning, I worked with Sabrina Rios and she was amazing and answered my millions of questions. I planned this celebration from NJ and it wasn't easy due to the distance but Sabrina made it so easy. On the day of, the staff was amazing. They set up the room exactly as I wanted to and the food and service was above and beyond. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special event!

  I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. My contact was Caroline and she was great to work with. She was professional and responded quickly to my emails. The service, food and staff was excellent and accommodating. The price was very affordable. I'd recommend the Columbia to anyone.

  We had our rehearsal dinner at the Columbia and everything was amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the Flamenco dancers my mother-in-law hired to dance during our dinner! Love the history here!

  I had my reception at the Columbia in Ybor. They were amazing. Not only was it a good value, but they had the best customer service. My contact at the venue was Emily. She is the best. Anytime I emailed her she emailed me back quickly. If I needed to schedule a time to meet her she was flexible and always so nice. The day of the reception they were great. The service was quick and the staff was very kind. They went over and beyond my expectations. They even cut our cake for us and brought out containers for people to take some cake home if they would like (no extra charge). If I ever have another event I will definitely have it a the Columbia. Very glad I picked them for one of the most important days of my life.

  The cocktail hour and reception for my daughter's wedding was held on October 4 at the Columbia Museum and Restaurant in Ybor City. It was the first contract we signed after the engagement, over a year in advance of the event, as the food at the Columbia is her favorite. Jill Domb is their awesome event planner. Not only is she extremely competent and creative, but she is also unshakeable. She was extraordinarily helpful, as was the balance of the staff at the restaurant.
  
  The food was wonderful and completely up to the Columbia's standards. The staff helped create a magical evening, from beginning to end, and it appeared they were having fun, too. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

The Columbia Restaurant worked hard to meet both our meal and budget, and all the guests raved about their delicious meal. They were also very accommodating in providing separate meals for vegetarian and gluten-free guests, and even packed one of the meals for a guest that was arriving late.

  The Columbia was a BEAUTIFUL venue! It was everything we had imagined....from the colors of the room to the service! Everything was Perfect! The management and staff were excellent! The food was Amazing and even boxed all the left overs for us to take home! My father was born and raised in Ybor City, and the Columbia exceeded his expectations of what he imagined for his daughter's wedding!!

  One of the best decisions I ever made was booking the Columbia for my ceremony & reception. All the people I made contact with on a regular basis were fantastic. They allowed us to come in the day before and set up the ceremony space. We got to do a food tasting where they spoiled me and my husband for 2 hours with delicious foods & sangria. The night went off without a hitch. Columbia's beauty, delicious food, and amazing service made my wedding a dream come true. I highly recommend the Columbia!

  The restaurant was in Ybor and the reception was in The Don Quixote. The room is absolutely gorgeous. It has a balcony, beautiful lighting, and an enormous chandelier. The food at the Colombia was delicious. Everyone loved the food. And the service was spectacular! I truly felt like the a Queen! I was so pleased with my selection for the reception.

We used the Familia room next door for the buffet as it is connected with sliding doors that can open and close. Great room, beautiful colors, and the food was phenomenal!

They were helpful and accommodating as my mother-in-law planned many of the details from out of state with Jill. As we neared the date and had to shift some things around due to our number of attendees, Jill was gracious and helpful in making necessary changes. It was the perfect evening!

  I can not say enough good things about the "Special Events" team at the Columbia. I must have changed my mind a million times, and the staff were more than accommodating. Its only $100 for room rentals, and they have private rooms for small groups (like my wedding of 18 people) up to huge dining rooms that seat over 100. They have an excellent catering menu, and, for smaller groups, they will actually do a limited menu, which was perfect for my wedding. They'll print the special menu and they'll set up the room however you want them to. The day before my wedding, I dropped off our champagne glasses, a seating chart, name tags, our guest book, vases, and described how I wanted everything set up. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry for a minute. They had everything the way I wanted. Also, because it was a small group, they had Caesar come in and give our guests a tour of the historic site while we took pictures. The guests loved it and it kept them entertained in our absence. Dinner service was quick, the price per plate was cheaper than what most people pay for weddings, and they even cut and served the cake for us after we took pictures of us cutting the cake. This was absolutely the way to go!

  We had a lunch reception with tapas. We were not happy with the taste of the food. Our tasting was a lot better than what was actually provided. The lady who managed the reception was rude to me (the bride) and was not willing to honor simple requests. The price was very reasonable, but the service and food not the best.
