  Amazing photographs

  I don't know that the review will really do the photos I received from Christobal justice. They have far exceeded my expectations. The photographer was the one vendor my husband and I felt most strongly about (after all, the memories you'll keep over time are those captured in photographs).
  
  We have *so* many amazing moments captured forever. Christobal was a pleasure to work with, and made us both feel at ease taking photos throughout the day. We love his photojournalism style and the unique photos we now have of our wedding day.

  Working with Christobal at Azul Photography was a great experience. He is a true artist and takes beautiful photos. In addition, he is friendly, flexible, and exudes passion for his work. I was so happy with the quality, creativity, and amount of wedding photos I received.

  Christobal & the Azul team are amazing! We were fortunate enough to have Christobal documenting our proposal. (He was INCREDIBLE to my husband. He snuck around and changed outfits throughout the whole ordeal so that I wouldn't see him.) And they are truly just the most beautiful pictures. Unfortunately, Chris wasn't available on our wedding day, but we trusted that anyone he assigned to us would do a great job. And we were right! The work speaks for itself, but I have to tell you that these are sweet, genuine people with UNBELIEVABLE talent.

  Christobal, Chris, Cball, Azul Photography ... whichever name you know them by, you know they are AMAZING! Christobal has that calm, laid back attitude every couple needs on their wedding day. He is great at bringing out everyone's personalities, even if they are shy or non-photogenic like myself ;) He captured every laughter, tear, kiss, and cash smashing perfectly! I loved being able to look back through all the images he captured and reminisce on the moments I remembered and even on the ones I didn't! As a wedding planner for A Southern Soiree, it wasn't an easy task to pick my vendors since I get to work with so many wonderful companies everyday! Luckily, I have been fortunate enough to work closely with Azul Photography for the last 4 years, so I knew he was going to be a great fit for my now husband and wild family! I would highly recommend Azul to any couple looking for a photographer who works as hard as they do to capture every detail of your special day!

  We loved our experience entire with Azul Photography. We did engagement photos in addition to wedding photos through Azul and loved working with Christobal. He made the entire process easy and has a wonderful eye. Our engagement and wedding photos were amazing. He captured so many moments including the little ones that really captured us.

  Our wedding was 31 January 2014 and Christobal was our photographer. He was so personable and easy to work with! He made everyone feel at ease while he was doing group pictures and worked very fast! My husband and I were able to join almost the entire cocktail hour since Christobal knocked everything out so quickly. He made things fun and simple. He was also EVERYWHERE. Everywhere I looked throughout the night, Christobal was there, capturing the moments. He gave us one sneak-preview shot that was AWESOME and we can't wait to see the rest! Totally stoked and hope to work with him again!

  o As we celebrate our first year of marriage, we have spent a lot of time reflecting on the joy of our wedding weekend. Of course this also meant reminiscing through many of the outstanding photographs from Azul! We were absolutely amazed by the photographs Azul captured of our wedding weekend (Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony and Reception). We felt like his images truly captured the energy of the room and love we felt. We were delighted to see many moments in his pictures that we were not present for (families intermingling, friends chatting, dancing, etc). He seemed to have a pristine eye for moments he knew would be special to us. Christobal (and his team) has been a delight to work with from our very first meeting through today. He did our engagement pictures and bridal portraits. He makes you feel extremely comfortable during each session and captures natural, ‘non-staged’ moments. His documentary, non-posed style allows for an end result that is true to the couple and moment. We adored getting to know Christobal- he is an extremely genuine person with a wonderful heart. His style and attitude put you at ease and allow you to enjoy each session. He has an incredible eye for his craft (especially lighting). He is also willing to do anything for a good photograph… the image we chose for our bridal portrait/newspaper was a result of him noticing a good location, having a vision for the setting (that looked like an odd choice to an amateur) and lying in the grass to capture the lighting ‘just right.’ His photographs are works of art and gifts that we cherish! We look forward to utilizing Azul for future special moments and highly recommend him to all!

  Chris is an absolute pleasure to work with. From the beginning to the end he was professional and personable. He made me feel comfortable with just being me, and not having to worry about everything being in place. Most of all I felt like my wedding was not just another wedding, but an event that Chris was personally vested. I am so glad we met and I had the opportunity to work with him. During my bridal shoot, he was patient and not afraid of trying new things. He captured the shot, that I could only existed in my dreams!!! I can hardly wait to see my wedding photos. Couples, if you want an enjoyable experience with your photographer and if you want something outside of the ordinary, this is the company to go with hands down!!!!

  Cristobal was amazing from our initial meeting to our wedding day. He is definately amazing at what he does. The photographer was on my top list of most important vendors. He shot our engagment pictures and really captured our stoy of how we met and got engaged. The pictures were fantastic! He was also non stop at the wedding (I don't evven think he stopped to eat!). He was worth every dollar and can't wait to see our wedding pictures! I highly recommend Azul (Cristobal) and can't wait to work with them again!

  Azul was wonderful. Christobal took beautiful bridal portraits and Travis took so many great wedding pictures.

  Our entire experience with Azul was wonderful. Christobal is an amazing photographer and the thing that I love most about his work is that he emphasizes natural, unposed photography. We just got our wedding photos back and they are so much better than I was expecting and even hoping for. Chris captured the perfect moments, filled with emotion, and the way that he frames things through the lens is incredible. The photos really transport you back into the moment and let you experience the joy of the day all over again.
  
  Another thing that I absolutely loved about Christobal is that he did not dominate our time at all! He simply blended into the background and let us enjoy the day. I have been to many weddings where the photographer kept pulling the bride and groom away from the action for different poses, but Christobal did not do that once the entire night. We simply enjoyed the company of our friends and family and he documented that beautifully!
  
  In summary, I could not recommend Azul more and I would absolutely choose them again if I had to do everything over again!

  Chris is an amazing photographer and always maintained the highest level of professionalism. I knew he was the right photographer for us when I saw his work! I loved his photojournalistic approach to photography and he seemed to capture moments like no one else could. And when we got our wedding photos back, I knew I had made the right choice! The photos were incredible! I coudn't even narrow down my favorites if I had to! They were all just so good! And Chris' personality makes him so great to work with, which is important on what is likely one of the busiest and most important days of a bride's life! I would HIGHLY encourage any bride who wants amazing photos to book Azul!

  I highly recommend Azul Photography! Christobal is such an awesome person and so is his work! He has such a great artistic ability and it really shows in all of the pics!!   We chose Azul Photography for our engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding documenting. We interviewed several local photographers but had no doubt when we contracted with Azul. Instead of sitting down to talk about scheduling while we thumbed through four scrapbooks like other photographers, Christobal used his computer to pull up files for weddings he's done. When we told him where we'd be getting married, he showed us a few weddings that he'd documented there. We were so impressed with the quality of their work! Everyone from Azul Photography has been consistently professional, extremely friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions.
  
  Christobal took our engagement photos and my bridal portraits. For both, he was able to come up with the perfect places for us to go for each session. Kathleen and an assistant documented our wedding beautifully! They were great to have with us all day and we are so proud of our photos!
  
  Honestly, your wedding flies by. You can spend a fortune on all sorts of things, but we chose to spend our money on photography and videography. When the day is done, you can't reproduce it, so you hope that you have all of the memories you made are documented. We didn't want our wedding photos to be posed or boring, and we didn't want to say "gee, I wish we'd gotten a shot of ___." We wanted all of the unrepeatable smiles, looks, and dance moves. We didn't want just a few good shots out of the hundreds; we wanted every single photo to be worth scrapbooking or framing, and they really are!

  Christobal took our engagement photos and my bridal portraits. For both, he was able to come up with the perfect places for us to go for each session. Kathleen and an assistant documented our wedding beautifully! They were great to have with us all day and we are so proud of our photos!
  
  Honestly, your wedding flies by. You can spend a fortune on all sorts of things, but we chose to spend our money on photography and videography. When the day is done, you can't reproduce it, so you hope that you have all of the memories you made are documented. We didn't want our wedding photos to be posed or boring, and we didn't want to say "gee, I wish we'd gotten a shot of ___." We wanted all of the unrepeatable smiles, looks, and dance moves. We didn't want just a few good shots out of the hundreds; we wanted every single photo to be worth scrapbooking or framing, and they really are!

  Christobal was an absolute JOY to work with. He was so easy-going when we met with him, it made the entire thing effortless and easy. Neither of us were fans of taking pictures, but Christobal put us at ease and we never felt silly or awkward. We both loved his style of photography - he really captures the energy and emotion of every moment he photographs and produces amazing images. He even showed us what to do when we cut the cake (we had no idea what to do with the ribbon!). Basically, we love him! He is the absolutely amazing photographer and an even better person. We both want another reason to work with him! :)

  Ever since seeing my friend's wedding photos in October 2009 by Azul Photography, I knew I wanted them for my very own wedding! I still shopped around a bit just to be sure, but Azul was the best choice for my family because my husband and I prefer the photojournalism/documentary style while my parents wanted the traditional wedding shots and family portraits.   Chris was wonderful! So laid back and flexible. Most of the time I wasn't even aware of him being there and yet he captured every moment! We would definitely recommend Azul to others!

  I first met Chris at one of the wedding shows in the area and I could tell just from browsing at his portfolio that he was different from the rest of the wedding photographers I had seen. His photos tell a story and are truly works of art. I chose him to be my wedding photographer because I knew that I wouldn't get the standard run of the mill wedding photos that I was seeing. We got married this past November at Caffe Luna, and the pics turned out wonderful and continually bring me back to our special day. I love that the pics have so many layers and movement and they captured the essence of the night. If you are looking for one of a kind amazing photos for your wedding or any other special occasion, I would highly recommend him. He's professional, kind, down to earth and so passionate about his craft and it reflects in all his work!

  This is as good as a business gets. I cannot stress enough how good Azul is and how much they care about their customers. You should read this whole story, because the end is the best part:
  
  We were married in 2007. Azul did an outstanding job throughout the ceremony, in between (with beautiful shots in downtown Raleigh), and at the reception. The photographer was never in the way but still managed to capture so many great moments, and the photos were beautiful. The lighting was good, creative shots were great, they managed to capture pictures of every single attendee as well. We have a beautiful album they put together, plus 700+ digital photos.
  
  Fast forward to 2013, six years later. On our anniversary I went looking for some wedding shots to put on Facebook. To my horror I discovered that, apparently through a series of unfortunate mistakes, we had not only misplaced the disc with the photos on it, but also the backups we had made on external drives. I WAS SICK. We spent 2 days searching the house and our PC files with no luck.
  
  The last hope was that Azul might have a copy in their archives. They only guarantee backups for a year, but as it turns out, six years later, they still had our photos!!! At no charge they made another disc for us and could not have been more obliging. They just wanted us to be happy. I am so thankful to Azul Photography and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you Chris and the team not only for the great photos, but for saving me after I lost them!!!
