  Chris was our photographer for our wedding, and we feel extremely lucky to have him as a part of the biggest day of our lives. Chris' work is very unique and he has a special ability to capture and reflect our joy in the most natural way. Chris is also very knowledgeable and he gave us a lot of advice from planning to execution. I would highly recommend Avant Documentary Photography to anyone who is looking for a photographer.

  Avant provided above and beyond our needs and wants. They offered very useful advice throughout the entire year we were working with them. And needless to say, our photos came out more wonderful than we could have hoped for.

  Chris at Avantdp has been awesome work with, he's always on time, actually early every appointment and is willing to go the extra mile for you as well (climbing, rolling around to get shots, etc).
  
  I was referred through a friend but had a good feeling on our first meet and greet, he's not pushy salesman and lets you decide for yourself. His prices are very reasonable as well.
  
  I would suggest visiting his website to see some more sample shots if his style suits you, but I have nothing but great things to say.

We got to know him through our meetings and became friends, which in return made our photo session very comfortable and natural. He is quick to respond to our questions and provide very informative answers while giving his professional opinions. Aside from photography, he has also gave us help with suggestions to other wedding related services. His work is unique and was great in capturing every moment of our day. We highly recommend Chris to anyone as he goes above and beyond anything you would ever expect.

  I would 100% recommend Chris for anyone wedding. In fact I have passed his name to a few friends who are getting married. He's very skilled in his art and is a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond what was required by him. Thanks Chris for being our photographer for the wedding and becoming a friend.

He was very fun, energetic, and very patient, he kept contact with me closely and always responded my questions fast. and the wedding photos turned out very beautiful and memorable.
  
  Since my wedding day we still keep in touch. He not only treats his clients as “clients”, but also he treats us as his friends. He is definitely a great & professional photographer and a great friend. On our 1st year anniversary last September, Chris was very kind to take an anniversary photo session for us in a park, it was very special to Johnny and I, Chris listened to my ideas and also offered his professional opinions which we appreciated a lot, the photos turned out very beautiful.

  Avantdp really did a solid for us on our wedding. Chris was obviously passionate about his work and willing to experiment and do different things. He was a lot of fun and his unobtrusive style really captured the raw moments of our wedding day. He's always looking for ways to imrpove and to get a new angle. It was a pleasure working with Chris and my husband and I are really happy that he was the one that was with us on our day. :)
