    Working with Mike and Jess was one of the best parts of my wedding day! When I was searching for a wedding photographer, they were the only photographers I found who wanted to have a "Get to Know You" meeting several weeks before my wedding. At this meeting/dinner, they took time getting to know what my fiancé and I liked and disliked and who we were as individuals and a couple. The time they spent getting to know us really showed on the wedding day as they guided us through all of the pre-wedding and wedding activities. Their directions were clear and helpful, especially since my fiancé and I are not naturally photogenic people. Their sense of humor and natural friendliness eased our nerves and I enjoyed sharing my excitement with them. Out of all the vendors at our event, including my site coordinator and DJ, Mike and Jess were by far the most competent and interested ones there. They knew what was going on, how the event should flow, and helped us in making necessary adjustments to the plan along the way. When I saw the 3000 pictures they took only a week later, I was absolutely thrilled at how beautiful they were and by the way they captured the day. I have two younger sisters and if either of them get married in the DFW area, my family will definitely be using Absolute Photography again -- they are awesome in every way!!

    Absolute was FABULOUS! easy to work with. totally see the same vision as to what to look on your wedding day. Gorgeous pictures. I couldn't ask for more.

    We were so pleased with not only the quality of work, but the relationship that Mike and Jessica built with us. They really got to know us and then reflected our personalities in the pictures that they took.

    Absolute Photography was incredible! The husband/wife team was perfect for capturing both sides of preparations before the ceremony. Having a female photographer with us while getting ready for the big day was extremely comfortable. And knowing that her husband was capturing all of my soon to be husband's moments was great. We have become extremely close with Mike and Jessica and I recommend them to all of my friends for weddings, pregnancy and family. We have since done many photo shoots with them and they will continue to capture us as our family grows!

    We absolutely loved our photographers, Mike and Jessica! They did our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding. We love all 3 sets of pictures, they are amazing! They are professional, yet friendly and laid back at the same time...flexible when we had ideas, yet ready with plenty of ideas of their own. They captured every inch of our wedding: the flowers, the church, posed photographs, candids, and the little moments that we didn't know were happening until we saw the pictures. We are SO pleased with them! They truly love to take pictures and it shows in their work! We highly recommend them to anyone!!!

    We were very happy with our decision to go with Absolute Photography. Mike and Jessica are awesome to work with! Through all the planning they were so helpful and quick to answer all questions. On the wedding day Mike and Jessica didn't miss a thing! They had lots of good ideas for some fun shots and the family/formal pictures went very smoothly. The website is very easy to work with and order pictures from. Also, we LOVE our album!!

    I had a wonderful experience with Absolute Photography. They are very professional and delivered the same quality and level of service that others were charging much higher prices for. I love the work they did on our album - and I would highly recommend them!

    Working with Absolute Photography was wonderful! Mike and Jessica are exceptionally easy to work with and are very responsive. They listen to (and actually hear!) their clients' desires. They are NOT overbearing during your event; they are able to find wonderful photograph opportunities without constantly telling you what to do or where to go. They let the joy of the day be the focus, and they tell your story photographically.

    I can't emphasize enough what a pleasure it was to work with them - I'd HIGHLY recommend them to any bride and groom.

    Mike and Jess did a great job with our wedding photos! We still have to go through them all but I can already say they have some awesome ones! They did an amazing job always being around to catch photos and also did a great job working with some unideal rainy weather! Love them!

    Mike and Jenn was great to work with. We both felt very comfortable with them and they made sure to take shots we would enjoy based on our personality. They have great experience in the are and are always staying up to date on new place, techniques, and ideas.

    Mike and Jessica did a fantastic job with our wedding photos. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of our photos and how easy they were to work with. Highly recommended!!

    Mike and Jess are wonderful. They take extra time to get to know you and want to help work with you to make sure your photos are exactly what you want to be for the rest of your life. It's great because they obviously know each other (since they're married and all) and they know how to play off of each other's strengths and weaknesses. The quality of their work is amazing. We've had many compliments already and we haven't even done our photo album, which is sure to look even more awesome knowing their capabilities.

    Overall, we looked at about a dozen photographers in the Dallas area, and while there were some photographers who had great work, or had a great price, none of them had the combination of the two like Mike and Jess, especially when you factor in that they are great people and do so much for their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Period.

    I would highly recommend Mike and Jessica for anyone getting married. They are a married couple themselves, and both are great photographers. They each bring their own unique ideas to the way they capture their photos, so you get more than just one style of photography. As a photographer myself, the photography aspect of my wedding was the part that I was most finicky about. My husband and I both agree that they captured our day exactly the way we remember it, and they were very easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and didn't "get in the way" on our wedding day. As a matter of fact, when we got our photos back (only 2 weeks or so after the wedding!), there were pictures of us where we didn't even remember seeing a photographer around us. They were very discreet, and captured the day just as it happened. I would definitely recommend them!!

    Mike and Jess were great. They really enjoy telling your wedding day story through pictures from your wedding. They planned well and were very flexible with us and all of the craziness (as well as several serious family illnesses) that happened before our wedding.

    I met with 4 or 5 photographers before meeting Mike and Jessica and I walked away from my meeting with them knowing that they were the ones that I wanted.

    Took forever to get my album and they were an hour late to the wedding.

    Absolute Photography's reply:

    This review is a total fallacy. We have time stamped photos that prove that we were on time to this wedding and photographed the wedding as specified by the brides’ contract with us. My only guess is that she was confused about what time she hired us to be there. Regardless, we have photos of her in her ready room putting her dress on and getting hair and makeup done so there is no content of her wedding day that was missed even if she thought we were supposed to be there earlier. In regard to the album, we had a clause in our 2005 contract that stated that “if an album is not ordered within 1 year after the wedding day then her album would be forfeited. “ We called and email many times to get her to order her album and her response was always, “I’m a teacher and I don’t have time for this (ordering an album)”. We took initiative and created an album for her even though she was going to forfeit her album. When I showed her the album that we created for her since she was “too busy”, she then complained that we didn’t pic ‘the best pictures and to try again’. She again gave us no input other than “try again” so we went through months of revisions and finally her husband emailed us and said to print the album b/c they liked it. When she got the album she called and complained because she didn’t know her husband approved it. We then made her another album that she liked better. We didn’t go the extra mile on this, we went an extra 10 miles and for some reason she thought it was necessary to give us a bad rating. We were on time to her wedding AND the album took a long time b/c she never actually told us what she wanted despite our best efforts.

    Their website looks amazing, and they seem really sweet when you first meet them, but they were not flexible with our meeting places requiring us to drive over an hour to meet them multiple times, and they were late to my wedding causing a TON of unnecessary stress before the wedding. The pictures they took at my wedding are good, but nowhere near the quality of the pictures on their website that caused me to hire them in the first place.

    This review came as a shock to us and it may not even be intended for our company Absolute Photography based in Dallas. We never photographed a bride named Ashley on 12/11/2009. We did photograph a wedding on that date for a bride named Melanie and we were not late to her wedding. We arrived and photographed Melanie’s wedding as the time specified on her contract. All the emails from Melanie state that she “absolutely loved” the photos so I can’t imagine this being the same person. Absolute Photography is a fairly common photography business name and I think we are a victim of mistaken identity.
