About the Bride Jessica was born in Austell, Georgia and has lived in Georgia for most of her life. She lived in Charlotte, North Carolina during her first grade year. She is the daugther of Jeff and Jill Jernigan. She has two younger sisters, Jensine and Janna. Jessica just graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University. She is now attending graduate school at GSU to attain her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education with an endoresment in Reading before the wedding. She is a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha. About the Groom Earl was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and has lived in many places throughout his life. He is the son of David and Rebecca McCoy. He grew up in an Air Force family, so they were constantly moving. He has lived in England, New Mexico, and Georgia. He has one yonger brother, Nathan. He attended college for two years at Clayton State University, and then decided to join the United States Air Force. He has been in the USAF for almost two years. Earl is a Airborne Systems Engineer and he is stationed at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska. How We Met We met at church in the youth choir during my 7th grade year and his 8th grade year.  We started dating soon after we met.  We went out for a little over a year and a half and then we broke up and dated other people for about a year.  We realized that we only wanted to be with each other, so we got back together the second half of my sophmore year/his junior year, and we have been together ever since! The Proposal December 24, 2007 We went together to the 7:00pm Christmas Eve service at our church with his family. After the service, we went up to the front of the church to take pictures with poinsettias while everyone was filing out of the church from the service. His family was taking the pictures while my family hid so I couldn’t see them. During the middle of one of the pictures he pulled out a ring and got down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and of course I said YES! He said that since we met and started dating at church it was only fitting to ask me to be his wife at church.
