How We Met: We met at a Movie Theater in Brooklyn, NY. We were in line to see the movie “The Barbershop”. He introduced himself and sparked a conversation. Since our tickets weren’t for the same theater, he convinced me to exchange numbers and catch up after. We never had a chance to meet up that night. However, we did a few days later and spoke every day since. The Proposal: He proposed intimately at our apartment. I came home to flowers and dinner. Shortly after he expressed his desire to be with me for the rest of our lives. Followed by THE question… After a few window shops...and exactly 6 years since they first met, he said “let’s go to the city!”. Once we arrived at the shop, I closed my eyes as he got down on one knee; proceeding to put the ring on my pointer finger–YES. LMAO! Eventually he found the ring finger and the whole store cheered! :-)
