Tamara

Toby and Tamara met on social networking site in October 2007. Tamara did not spend much time online, but after having Jaelyn she found it as a form of entertainment. Toby's photograph popped up and she sent him a message. They communicated by email for a few weeks before exchanging phone numbers. While Toby was celebrating Thanksgiving with his family in North Carolina, Tamara and Toby communicated by telephone. Initially, they planned to meet for coffee, but Jaelyn's godmother Kim decided to take her for the weekend, which freed up some of Tamara's time. Toby suggested that they go to Glady Knight's Chicken and Waffles Restaurant so that Tamara would not have to drive all the way back up to Laurel. Their first date was nice and Tamara though that Toby was very considerate. They then began to spend time together on a regular basis. They both knew Tamara had orders to report to Colombia, however they decided to see where the future would lead them. After going through several trials and tribulations, Tamara and Toby took steps to further their relationship. Tamara left MD in October 2008. Toby visited Bogotå in December 2008 and again in January 2009, to celebrate Tamara's birthday. Tamara and Toby planned on visiting Monserrate, which is a mountain that sits 10,000 feet above sea level. There is a church and a couple of restaurants on the mountain top. On January 30, 2009, Toby proposed to Tamara during a romantic candle light dinner overlooking the entire city of Bogotå. Considering they had to take a cable car and they are both afraid of heights, it made the experience extra special for them both.
