It all started my senior year in high school in 2007. Jason (my FH) went to a different high school then I did so we were introduced through a friend and there our friendship began. As the weeks went on we talked constantly and hung out as much as we could. On March 18, 2007 he asked me out to dinner and a moive. We saw the movie 300....not your typical romantic date movie but we both wanted to see it. At the end of the night he asked me out and we started dating. We've experienced graduation and our college years together. Although we went to different colleges and that was the hardest part of our relationship. We were 3 hours away from each other. We had our ups and downs but got through it. He graduated from college in May 2011 and I will be graduating college  Dec 2011. So now the story of how we got engaged.... It was June 12,2011...the day before Jason asked if i wanted to go to the Ashboro Zoo. I was really exxcited since I haven't  been to the zoo since i was little and it was something fun to do on a Sunday. Plus I am an Animal Science major so anything that has to do with animals I'm all for. So that morning we got up and got ready and drove to the zoo. Nothing out of the ordinary and I wasn't suspecting a thing. It was after lunch we went to the mountain lion exhibit and they were really cool. There were two right up to the glass, Jason could tell this was the best one yet so he told me so mushy lovey stuff...me still not having a clue bc we were that type to normally say random sweet things to each other. Then all of the sudden he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him...and of course i said YES! We've been together for over 4 years now and I am so excited to marry my best friend!!! :)
