We met in high school through our mutual friend, Courtney. Courtney, James and I worked together on the high school yearbook staff. I was an editor, Courtney was an assistant editor and James was a staff writer. Through the year James and I became good friends. James even helped me brush up on my math skills before I took the ACT. He even became friends with my parents because they shared a common interest, World of Warcraft. The four of us would go out to lunch and that's what they would discuss. (I started playing the day before we started dating.) In the fall of 2005, I went off to college. I didn't live on campus so we were still able to hang out regularly. On October 3, James asked me if I'd go out with him. This was something I knew he'd wanted for a while. I agreed and we started dating. Over the years, our relationship has grown. I don't think either one of us thought that it would turn into something so special. We've come a long way over the years. I couldn't imagine having anyone else in life other than him.
