There once was a girl named Nicole, but everybody called her Nicky. Nicky had a love for music. From an early age she loved how music could heighten her emotions. Music was almost always there for her. In times of sorrow, anger, happiness, and even in times of triumph. So Nicky decided to go to college for music. After her first exciting year of school, her parents were really ridding her to find a job. If Nicky didn't find a job and save some money she couldn't attend her second year of college. So Nicole set out on a quest; a quest to find a job. This is a quest many people have to endure during their lives, and like many other people Nicole was successful in her quest (thanks to Grandma Bee's lucky pen). Nicole found a job at McDonald's. When Nicky started working at McDonald's she met a lot of great people. She soon realized that the job was really not as bad as she thought it was going to be, and at least there was a cute boy that worked there too. On Nicole's first day of work she had to learn how to help close the store. After learning a little bit about the point of sale system, the manager sent her to work on her closing duties, and the manager sent the cute boy out to teach Nicole exactly what she was supposed to do to close her section of the store.
"Hi, I'm Nicky," she said to the boy.
"Hi, I'm Kyle," the boy said.
Kyle asked Nicole about why she started working at McDonald's. Nicole replied that she was attending school in River Falls and she wanted to work close to school, so that she could work during the school year. He asked her what she was majoring in. She replied Music Education. Kyle was fascinated with the response. He asked her more questions like, "Do you sing or play an instrument?" "What instrument do you play?" "What kind of music do you like?" With all these questions came answers, and Nicole learned that Kyle was in choir back in high school, she thought that was really neat, and she was relieved to meet someone that seemed to have a diverse taste in music, much like she did. A flame was lit after that, and the two young kids now had a connection that brought them together in ways that Nicole and Kyle would never had imagined. Kyle had girlfriend at the time, and Nicole was very sad to hear that, but since she liked Kyle so much, she just wished him happiness. The two would have interesting conversations during work since they were often paired together working in the back window of the store. In the back window, one person takes orders from the customers while another person takes money and pays the orders out. There was always a little bit of time for conversation in between cars. One day, Nicole was on break, talking to her friend Rachel on the phone. Kyle decided to mock Nicole during her phone conversation, since it was one of those teenage girl conversations that included a lot of giggling. Rachel asked who was mocking her, and Nicole declared that it was Kyle. Rachel asked if he was cute, and Nicole said, "Well, I think so." In a way so that Kyle wouldn't know what they were talking about.
A few days later, Kyle told Nicole that he and his girlfriend broke up. Nicole felt bad for Kyle, he seemed really hurt, and since their friendship had grown through the last couple of months, she thought it would be alright to comfort him through it. Nicole knew she was talented at comforting people that were feeling down. Kyle asked Nicole to call him when she got home from work, and he proclaimed that if she didn't call him, he would be very, very sad. Nicole didn't want Kyle to be sad, so she called him that night; they talked about a lot of things, like their families, friends, just life in general. They realized that they had a lot more in common and that they really see the world in similar ways. The next day at work, Kyle needed a ride home from work. When they got to Kyle's home, Kyle asked if he could show Nicky around his house, and introduce her to his younger sister Randi. Nicky thought that would be alright. So Nicky met Randi and got a lovely tour of the house. At the end of the tour, Kyle went to show Nicole the patio. When they got to the patio, it was very dark, for some reason the lights were not currently working. Nicole took Kyle's hand because she was not familiar with her surroundings and it was very dark.
"I can't see anything," said Nicole.
Kyle pulled Nicole in close and then their lips drew to each other and the couple shared their first kiss.

5 years, 8 months, and 5 days later Kyle and Nicky were going to go to Kyle's parents’ house for a barbeque and to help them with some yard work, or so Nicky thought. Kyle went before Nicky, because Nicky had to work until later in the day, but when Nicky got to Kyle's parents’ house, she was surprised to see Kyle standing on the patio holding a huge bouquet of flowers. Kyle then reminded Nicky that almost 6 years ago they had stood in that very spot and shared their first kiss together, and ever since that moment he knew that we were meant to be together. He handed Nicky the flowers, got down on one knee and asked, "Nicole Marie Bee, will you marry me?"
Nicole being nearly speechless because of excitement managed to mutter the word, "Absolutely."
Kyle got up from his knee and he and Nicky shared a few more magical kisses on the patio and held each other closely with happiness.
Now, 6 years later, Nicky and Kyle are inviting you to share in celebrating their love and happiness for each other.
