The first time we met I already had my mind made up to dislike him because he was replacing my favorite manager. I worked the morning shift six days a week, and since he was the general manager I worked with him quite often. When the schools start back in the fall, the restaurant gets pretty slow during the school day so he would come to the front (my area that I couldn't leave because its my job to answer phones, greet guests etc) to do paperwork and place produce orders and all that other good stuff. So we started talking. And he was a pretty awesome guy :) I began to be dissapointed on days that he didn't work, and when my classes started back up so I could only work three days a week, I began to miss our conversations. At some point, I'm not exactly sure when, I all the sudden woud catch myself zoning out and staring at him when he was working-he was hot! But I told myself to chill out because nothing would ever happen. It was against the handbook, he made it clear he would never date  an employee, he was ten years older than me, and during one of our conversations he had mentioned he didn't ever want kids. Kids are a must for me, and I was already the mother of a beautiful 18 month old. Well...We had a store meeting and I could feel him watching me. The next day one of my friends/co-workers let it slip that he had confided to her that he found me attractive. We became facebook friends and started chatting a few times a week. And he told me he would like to see me outside of work! So we planned a group night out with some of our other co-workers and by the end we couldn't hide it from them that we were interested. So...I put in my two weeks and we started dating. Within a few  months we knew we had something special, especially when my daughter began calling him "Daddy Luke"! We were engaged a week and a half before our one year anniversary.
