Kameron and I met in January 2010 in Greensboro, NC. After becoming friends and both having just got out of a relationship around the time we met and both being college students (he was 19 I was 18), we decided that we were not looking for a relationship and that we both enjoyed the friendship that we had. As we continued our friendship the chemistry we had was undeniable and we made it official June 22, 2010. One day before we hit our one year mark Kameron left for basic training in San Antonio Texas and although it was a hard adjustment but we managed to make it work while he was away. Once he returned home he lived in Raleigh, NC and I remained in Winston-Salem NC. For 2.5 years we alternated weekends going back and forth to see one another and battling some of the struggles of a long distance relationship. Determined to make things work we got a place together in the winter of 2012. Through all of the up's and down's we knew that this is what we both wanted and by keeping God first and with the encouragement of our families and friends we were able to make it to the next step. Fast forward to June 23, 2015 in Las Vegas,NV; Kameron asked me to be his wife and of course I said yes!. This has been an awesome journey thus far and we cannot wait to see what is in store for us in the future!!!.
