  Dylan and I met the summer after sophomore year of high school. We both go to Sugar Creek Baptist Church and every summer they do a youth camp. I had seen Dylan around and had some mutual friends but we had never spoken. We both went to camp that summer and got to know each other well while we were there. Very shortly after we started dating. We were together the rest of high school and the first year of college when I went off to Texas A&M and he stayed in Houston to go to U of H. Even in high school we knew we were going to get married one day. I became sure of this the night he told me he loved me for the first time. It was our first Valentines Day together and he took me out to this park by my house. He had packed the car full of blankets that he laid out in the grass. It was a beautiful open space where you can see the stars so perfectly. He put music on in his car so we could hear it where we were. We sat out there and talked and it was perfect. And then he told me he loved me. That was it. From then on there would be no one else. We broke up for about a year and a half because the stress and pressure of going to different colleges was just too much at that time. I don't know if we can really call it a break up though because we couldn't stay away from each other. We agreed that since the breakup was so hard on both of us we would not get back together until we were 100% sure we were going to get married. And here we are. Finally. We get to look forward to the rest of our lives together and we feel so incredibly blessed to have such amazing friends and family surrounding us!
