We don't have some over the top story of how we met and fell in love.  but then, you don't need some GRAND story for it to be special.  We met in college during our senior and junior years.  Actually we met the year before but only breifly.  It was the next year when we saw each other more often.  He was over at my house meeting up with a friend before going to a weekly on campus event.  Even though I was busy working on my senior final project the whole year I always made a point of taking a break when he was over to "get a glass of water" or get some food.  I would invite him to join some of my friends and I when we would go out in town and he would come and sit there, not saying much.  I wasn't sure if he was feeling the same thing I was but then one day after months of "hanging out" we became a couple.  the fact that I was moving to New York in a few short months was a huge factor and I did all I could to reassure him that we could do a long distance relationship and that we had to try it, otheriwise we may always wonder what could have been.  and well 2 1/2 years later and many trips back and forth, we are still together, both living in New York (which he never once thought would be a place where we would ever live) and planning our wedding!
