My soon-to-be husband and I met on a cruise to Mexico in 2017 leaving out of the Port of Miami. We were both seniors in high school, me living in central Florida and him in Western North Carolina, our future was a little blurry. Christmas ever 2020 changed everything, a power outage, no heat, and fresh snow on the ground was the moment he decided to finally ask me to marry him and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by his side
