Where do I start? How about the day we met. I actually met Matt at work. He was put on my line for a truck devein. Working side by side we were able to get know each other a little bit. The thing that really caught my attention was his personality. Even from the beginning, he has been quirky and fun. Matt started shouting coffee orders at me. "Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato, Three pumps, Extra Whip," or whatever it is people order from places like that! I remember thinking to myself 'What a character!' Wow, I'm only on the night we met still? Okay, let me speed this up a little... The next year was like a whirlwind, working together built a friendship. it was Matt that pushed the friendship into something more. It started with little notes left on my car, which turned into passing notes from bin to bin. Mailbox to Mailbox. Neither of us intended on finding a relationship at work, yet alone a love like we have. But I thank God every day for bringing him into my life. It was just a month ago (January), during a trip to Chicago for a weekend when he proposed. It was a quiet evening at Millenium Park. The lights were shining and people were skating all around us. Matt stopped in the middle of the ice rink to ask a couple to take a picture of us. Selfies just weren't cutting it. There I stood, standing, smiling, waiting for him to pose next to me. In front of everyone, he got down on one knee and melted my heart. Did I dream of this day? I did, but the dream couldn't touch this reality, it was almost surreal, the lights, the people, the night, everything made this moment perfect, better than any dream I could have dreamed. Is he the one? Absolutely. Does he make me happier than I ever imagined I could be? Absolutely. Am I excited to start this new chapter of marriage in my life? Absolutely
