Heather

In August 2008, Heather and Justin attended a wedding. Heather was there because her mom's friend invited her since she had met the bride and groom before. Justin was there because he had been friends with the bride in Poynette and became friends with the groom at UW-Platteville. At the reception, one of Heather's mom’s friends said, “Maybe you can find a man here!” Heather shrugged it off, thinking she was crazy. Sure, there were all the groom’s college friends, but what were the chances? As Heather was sitting at the bar, Justin came along with all his college buddies. The first thing he said to her was, "Do you want a shot, too?" as he was buying a round of Goldschläger for your college buddies. Yes, how romantic. But Justin and Heather continued to talk and get to know each other for the next two hours! When it came time for Heather to leave, they hugged and said goodbye, heading their separate ways. Both Heather and Justin were excited about meeting each other, but were afraid they would never see each other again. Heather eventually found Justin on Facebook because she knew she always would have wondered what would have happened. Justin was amazed that Heather even remembered him, and gave it a few hours before accepting her as a friend! Justin and Heather spent hours talking on the internet and then on the phone, as they got to know each other better. They eventually met for their first date on September 20, 2008. They ate out at the Mineshaft in Hartford and found out they both enjoyed playing pool. Ever since then, their relationship has grown and keeps getting better as time goes on.
