***Harold and Quita***

I met FH while attending Georgia College & State University. It turns out FH’s hometown was close to mine and we soon became friends.  We would see each other at parties and would occasionally hang out in group gatherings together. In 2006 a small group of mutual friends decided to have a mini GCSU reunion.  We met at a local Mexican restaurant and had great time reminiscing about college life.  After dinner we said our goodbyes and parted ways.  As I was driving home I was thinking it was great to see old familiar faces again.  FH on the other hand was thinking something totally different.  FH asked one of our mutual friends for my phone number and within five minutes of receiving my phone number he called and asked me to attend a Halloween party with him on Saturday.  I told him I would check my schedule and let him know if I was available.  I guess I did not respond quickly enough for FH because he called me again to see if I would attend the party with him.  I was thinking FH must really like Halloween or really wants me to attend this party with him.  I was afraid if I did not say yes FH would have kept calling me until I said yes. So, I finally gave in and agreed to go to the party.  We danced the whole night and I must admit we had a great time, I was dressed as Dracula and FH was an army soldier.  I am so glad FH begged me to go out with him.  The Halloween party led to many more dates and eventually a marriage proposal.  I am so bless to be loved by such a wonderful man.
