We met thru mutual friends at Rivergate Silverados and decided to go downtown. While downtown, He asked if I would give him and his cousin a ride home and I said yes. I drank a lil too much to drive myself so I had a friend of mine drive me home, totally forgetting Kevin and his cousin. I thought to myself the next day that "all chances with that guy are ruined". Lol. Well, I was wrong. That Monday came and I still was feeling horrible that I left them downtown. I am not sure who text who first but I do remember that I was appolpgizing many many many times. I, at one point, asked him how I could make it up to him? He replied "You could let me take you on a date!?" I was stunned and hesitated for a minute or two to answer. Finally, I said yes. The funny thing is ... he didn't take me on our first date. Lol. Although we had been talking on the phone to get to know each other for about 1.5  months, I called him. On July 3rd, 2008, I asked him to come watch the fireworks with me, my lil girl and my mother (who was in from West Virginia). He came and it was very special. He interacted with my mother as a gentleman and with my lil princess as a friend to her. It was one of the best dates I had ever been on. We began dating. And my heart fell for him more and more over time. I just knew he was the One I would Love, Laugh, Live with. He is my everything.
