Having moved to a new city for work, I decided to try online dating to meet new people. After 6 months of not meeting anyone who I felt were worth my time, I told myself I would give it one more go around. Little did I know my fiance Clayton had just moved back to his hometown and had just joined online dating himself. I sent the first e-mail to him. After several e-mails and eventually late night phone calls, he asked me out on our first date. I was nervous meeting him for the first time but was put at ease when well dressed, cute country gentleman was waiting on the other side of my door. He took me out to a great restaurant on the river followed by live show at the oldest dancehall in Texas. We both love Texas country music so it was the perfect date. We had great conversation but he was really shy. At the time my really good friend was my next door neighbor so after he dropped my off at my apartment, I went over to his place to fill him in on the date. I had a good time but honestly thought he wasn't in to me and told my friend I probably wouldn't hear from him again. I was pleasently surprised when the next morning he called and wanted me to come over to his house that week so he could cook me dinner! That was the begining of our amazing love story!
