    Aren't I enough??

seriously, there's a watch he's been wanting and I know he won't spend the money on it to buy it for himself so it's a no-brainer.

I am having my Man of Honor deliver him gifts each hour for the three hours leading up to our first look. The first gift will be socks...with a note about not getting cold feet. The second gift is a book I'm making...I've saved every card, card from flowers, note he has ever randomly left me around house and am compiling them with pics of us -- with a note about why I love him so much. The third gift is a biggie -- a watch with the date engraved -- with a note about not being late and remembering this day forever.

I'm probably going to get him a reeeally nice, top-of-the-line, custom-made ... fishing pole. Ugh, there's just no way to make that sound classier, is there? But hey, it's what he wants Smiley smile

The gift I ordered my FH is so romantic . . . A gun. It's one that he has wanted forever and he collects them, so I know he will be thrilled.

@Sarah B HAHA I just laughed out loud at that. Are you marrying a redneck too, by any chance?

Besides the gift may I recommend a hand written letter to accompany it? (you'd be surprised how many brides DON'T do this). This ends up being a very emotional moment and I love capturing it in the photographs.

I'm thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, so maybe a book of those pics.

And I really like Almost Mrs. P's watch idea. I'm totally stealing that.

I started a journal about 5 years ago, before I even met FH, and it was for my "Future Husband" to give him the morning of our wedding. Every time I saw a cute love quote or marriage quote I would write it in the journal or I would write little prayers for us and even though I had no idea who I would be marrying I would say things like "I can't wait to love you", Etc. I made a rule never to write in it while I was dating someone so I never had feelings behind what was written in case they ended up not being "the one". Over the years I wrote in it periodically. I actually wrote in it 2 days before I met my FH, didn't write in it again for 2 years while we dated and then when he proposed I started writing again TO HIM. Now I've written little tid bits and put movie stubs and other tickets to things we've gone to and when we get married I can give it to him and tell him I've been thinking about him and praying for him since before we even met.

@Micachoo: If you do that please make sure he receives the gift while he is alone. Generally he is surrounded by the GM. Although I am sure FH will not share the pictures it doesn't mean they won't sneak a peak while he is opening the gift before he realizes what it is.

@ Mrs Bryce: That is too cute (the socks!)

Im getting him a boudoir book, and my little paper Vcard in a fancy little box with a pair of scissors (inside joke between us, its the little paper card from the health and wellness center i got in 9th grade promising to save myself for marriage. Proud to say i have succeeded.) and im writing him a handwritten letter that we can save and read again one day in several years when we are ready to call it quits and maybe the letter will give us the strength to carry on. Hopefully ill get one from him too. The only weird thing about the boudoir book is that FH will be the one taking the photographs because im not comfortable being naked in front of anyone except him, so he will have to take the photos but i will put them into the book, he wont see any of that part until the wedding day. the vcard gift will be waiting in the hotel room for him to open before we get down to business.

Victoria, why dont you write him a handwritten letter? Doesnt cost you a penny and is very sentimental
