Wedding details
The night of our engagement started like every other Saturday night on Jon's couch, in front of the TV. With pajamas on and drinks in hand, we turned on our favorite documentary, Country Boys, and settled in for a low key night; at least that’s what I thought. I was starving after a Saturday shift at the bank and 2 hour drive in to Cleveland, so Jon baked a dozen chocolate chip cookies, still warm when we sat down for our show. Half way through the movie, our favorite quote recited by Chris, the lonely and unfortunate country boy struggling to focus his attention on taking the GED, was just about to be said, "this test is more important than life, if you must know"...ooo the drama! I was just about to mouth these words with Chris, when the movie itself paused and Jon actually walked out onto the screen! It was so smooth; it took me a minute to contemplate what had just happened. I looked over to his side of the couch, only to find he was no longer next to me. "Taking the GED is more important than life, if you must know..." Jon said, staring back at me from the television screen,” But that’s just not true." With my heart pounding in my chest and what must have been the biggest and goofiest smile to stretch across my face, he took a box out from this pocket and revealed a shining round cut diamond ring. "Will you marry me?" I looked around frantically, searching for my real Jon, when he stepped back into the room, ring in hand. That moment I began my new life with my husband to be. Ok, so that’s not exactly what happened that night. But it was what Jon intended; I've seen the trial videos and green screen to prove it. The truth is, Jon ran out of time and into computer troubles, but the idea was enough to make me melt. That Saturday was exactly a week after my graduation from OSU and I was making plans to move to Cleveland. Our night did start off with drinks in front of the television as usual, and it wasn't unlike Jon at all to suggest we go to Hyde Park for a cocktail and appetizers. He'd also just gotten his newest HD video recorder and it didn't faze me at all when he brought it along (he records everything). We had a seat and continued regular chit chat, while ordering our food. Being the smooth operator that he is, he lead me in conversation about our future together. It was then that he asked me to marry him, presenting me with the beautiful engagement ring he'd picked out himself. As many clues as he gave me, I was completely floored! My jaw dropped and all thoughts were lost. Any pre-determined acceptance speeches I may have prepared for that moment flew out of my head, and all I could do was burst into ecstatic tears of joy. I was too excited to eat my meal that night; I practically forgot how to use silverware, I was so beside myself. It was later that night I got to see the video he was working on and the thought that went into it. The more time goes by, the more I appreciation and love him have for his efforts. Since that night, we have only grown more in love and ready to join our lives in marriage. I can't wait to see what the future holds!

Hi all- What are you using for your processional music?
UGH! Ok, so since I bought my FH a gaming system last Christmas he's on it almost everyday for a few hours, longer on weekends. He's literally addicted to playing a game called "Battlefield 3" and...

It's supposed to rain Sunday, and we're getting married. It has moved up to a 60% chance of t-storms in the afternoon, which is when we're getting married. I bought rain boots, I have an umbrella. But we have an outdoor ceremony that may not happen,...

Where did you order your jewelry from? etsy, online shop? I need some help. I'm looking for tear drop type dangly earrings with diamonds (fake ones of course), and I'd like a real pretty bracelet, a cuff of sorts with maybe some pearls and fake...

Can anyone tell me the designer of this belt or where to find something very similar! Ignore the name on the picture, I named it for the dress.
