Wedding details
I'm originally from New Jersey. He's from Indiana. After a series of crazy events that some how brought us together in September 2010 we're now happily engaged! Our first date was at a rock climbing gym where we took a 2 hour instruction class and then did some free climbing. Afterwards it was followed by a trip to Starbucks to share a coffee and some snacks. It sounds so simple, but it truly was love at first sight. Ever since that moment we knew we'd be together for the rest of our lives. Last Friday night (4.12.13) he picked me up from work and we decided to go to Melting Pot for dinner, which is one of our favorite places to eat. It couldn't have been better we had our favorite server in a small semi-private booth and wonderful food to choose from. We decided on the 4 course as we always do. The bacon & brie cheese was amazing! California salad was crisp and light. The main entrees cooked in Coq au Vin mouthwatering. We had decided on the Flaming Turtle, which is a lovely melted caramel and milk chocolate dessert. That's when our server came out with a small bowl covered with a napkin. I was sitting on the edge of the booth as Daniel removed the napkin and inside of the bowl was an onion ring. (Note: we looovvee food) He took the onion ring and put it on my ring finger of my right hand. Then he took out the most beautiful sparkly ring I have ever seen and asked me to marry him! We're so excited to start planning our life together!
