Such a beautiful place, wonderful staff who really love their jobs, this was the perfect venue.

The Corton Lodge is a lovely venue and the owner, Ryan, is very helpful and willing to meet every need you may have. It was a dream come true. The venue is very roomy and the property is much bigger than it seems from the road. If you're on the line as to whether or not just give them a call and make a visit. You won’t regret it!

The entire team at the Holiday Inn in South Charleston, WV was incredible. I will forever cherish the relationship that I created with each of them and their dedication to excellence for my special day. I would recommend their team to ANYONE! Fantastic service!

Mr. Burke was a fantastic contact and so helpful when our other site dropped us less than a month away from the wedding. I would highly recommend this site.

Speaking to the wedding planner at the Marriot was not only informative but also fun! She was just as excited to talk about and plan my wedding as me! Not to mention how stunning the Pavillion venue is! We decided on a destination wedding, but this was a close second!

I just had my wedding at Canaan Valley Resort in Aug 2019. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have it. The entire staff was extremely kind, patient, quick, and fun! All emails were responded to very quickly and they worked so well with some last minute changes helping make sure everything went smoothly. Some things are overpriced, but nothing out of the ordinary for a wedding especially at a state park and resort. Highly recommend!

It was very beautiful. There were summer camps going on during the time frame of our wedding, but the people at Cedar Lakes were good to make sure it didn't interfere with the ceremony.

My daughter had the most AMAZING wedding at Glade Springs. At the end of the day, she told me it was “everything she had always dreamed of”. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and Bridget was the absolute best to work with. Rain was expected and she waited until the very last minute to set up since my daughter wanted an outdoor wedding so bad. As it turned out, it couldn’t have been more beautiful!! The wedding parties had the best time spending the day golfing and socializing the night before. It was great that everything was right there close together, and they had a shuttle to use so no one even had to use a vehicle to get anywhere. The dinner was very good and everyone was exceptionally nice. The only issue that I had was no air conditioning in the reception pavilion although there was ceiling fans and the doors and windows could be opened. I would HIGHLY recommend Glade Springs for a wedding!!

We recently held our daughter's wedding at the Schoolhouse -- and it was outstanding. From an event perspective, the hotel staff was outstanding -- from the first contact with them last year, to the run-up to the event, to the actual execution. Marsha in particular was extremely helpful and competent. That extended to all the staff, who were friendly and proactive in ensuring the wedding was a success. The ability to rent all the rooms in the hotel made it a special event where we had the whole place to ourselves. Throw in good food and drink, a nice ballroom, and ending up at the hotel roof bar for the end of the celebration. Highly recommended.
