Hotel Wedding Venues in Houston

I'd give 6 stars of I could. Super flexible to accommodate anything you want! Can't say enough nice things. Got the package which included coctail hour, cake, cake cutting, champagne, and a VERY luxurious complimentary honeymoon presidential suite! Food was amazing.

Carla was phenomenal with helping us plan our wedding reception. She was attentive to all the details and was extremely timely and organized. She was flexible with our needs and the event ran seamlessly. The event staff were professional and worked hard behind the scenes. I would highly recommend this venue.

This venue gives you everything you can ask for. It is clean, professional, well organized and detailed, and gives you flexibility without sacrificing quality. Any place can be great, but the service is what sets this place over the top. Kristina, the Director of Catering, is an absolute joy to work with and provides the best attitude and attention to detail that are needed to make an even successful. While we held the ceremony at a church, the included Verdure room would have been ideal to make it an all-inclusive place for a full wedding. The venue is also very cautious and very understanding of the concerns of the current pandemic and have taken precautions to make it as safe of an environment as possible. We had a smaller wedding for the same reasoning but I fully believe this venue can handle a wedding of any size with no concern about a drop off in quality or service.

We didn't originally want a hotel as our wedding venue, but once we saw The Sam and met with Michelle Scrimger, we were sold! The hotel has a boutique feel, and the Veranda event space is unique and beautiful. Michelle was fantastic to work with, and answered so many questions we had. Coordination with our on-site vendors was seamless, and their food and beverage options were top-notch. They worked with us to tweak a couple of things on the food and drink menus, and the day of ran extremely smoothly. Our package included the honeymoon suite adjacent to the Veranda event space, and it was perfect. We highly recommend The Sam Houston Hotel for a unique "hotel" wedding space.

My wedding photographer recommended Hotel Icon for our wedding block hotel. My fiancé and I toured here and could quickly see why. Not only are the staff so friendly, but also from the lobby to the guest rooms to my suite room everything is beautifully detailed. They surprised my husband and I with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries the night after the wedding. We loved staying here and will stay here for any hometown getaways.

We had our wedding reception at the Magnolia Hotel in Houston, Texas and our experience was absolutely amazing from the first meeting through the event execution! Kiana and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch and the food was also superb.

My husband and I were engaged and had set our wedding date with our church for 6 months away! We were in search for a venue that was still available to host our reception. We reached out to several, including some hotels, for pricing. After a couple of weeks of emails, phone calls, venue visits, Lily actually reached out to us via email and I got in touch with her. It was a breath of fresh air to speak with her. She was kind, friendly, DIRECT, and very helpful! We went to see the ballroom at Le Meridien, I don't think it was too long after that we were under contract. Throughout the entire process of planning our reception at the hotel, Lily was always so responsive and always gave us very helpful advice in terms of logistics and planning. We had our food tasting with Lily, brought our coordinator with us, and they worked with us to create the perfect appetizers and meals for our guests (everything was delicious, lots of compliments from guests!). We had several hours between our ceremony at our church downtown, Annunciation Catholic Church, and the reception - Lily helped coordinate to have our dinner brought to us before the reception so that we would have more time to mingle with our guests as they ate dinner. We also had access to the rooftop for pictures - absolutely LOVED the ways those turned out! Such beautiful views of the Houston skyline all around. We also reserved the Glam Room for the ladies in our family and I to get ready the morning of. Such a cute room with several vanities. I stayed in the room the night before our wedding, it was the perfect relaxing night before our big day! BOTTOM LINE: There are so many small details I could go on and on about. Lily was unbelievably helpful, very responsive, always on top of things, very professional, and made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything before and on the day of our wedding. We could not have been happier with hosting our reception and guests at Le Meridien!
